is a straightforward patrol-style mission, with various map
versions based on the mission briefing. While it is not a particularly
difficult mission, the black hole, sun, planet, and asteroids
give you plenty of obstacles to use to your tactical advantage
(or disadvantage if you get too close to one without noticing).
You can also grab repair parts from the planet if you get into
trouble.

sides, but we were fortunately able to temporarily repel the
ISC invasion. General Chang has been taken prisoner by the ISC

he is to stand trial on the moon, but has yet to be transported
from the orbiting station. Your orders are to capture the orbiting
station. Destroy all hostile incursions and defenses and then
return home. Moral in the Empire is low. If you fail, then do
not return.

We have made a strike
at a Federation frigate along a neutral border which we wish
to claim. We destroyed the Frigate, but the explosion sent our
Frigate to it's death on a nearby planet. Scans show that Federation
lifepods are still in the system and a Federation cruiser is
investigating. We do not want news of our skirmish to reach
the Federation so go and make sure nobody leaves alive.

A temporal fissure
has opened up in the Neutral Zone, a result of a cascade neutron
implosion one of our freighters has carried out, the fissure
will destroy any vessel in the proximity that falls to it's
pulling force. One of our cruisers observing the fissure was
destroyed when the fissure unexpectantly released a level six
shockwave. The test is a failure, but a Federation cruiser has
entered the zone to investigate. We do not want technical knowledge
of this test taken to the Federation, so destroy them.

These are multiplayer
scripts with a single spawning location for each team(A is North,
B is South). It has small, medium, and large maps with open,
asteroid, or planet options. This is an ideal script for campaigns
since no time is wasted in assembling each side together. It
also clearly demonstrates which border is to be used for "running
the gauntlet". It can also save time in regular 2v2 and
3v3 play.
You'll need a slightly
modified shiplist to play the base in FairStartBase4, which
is included in the file.

been recalled to Earth captain. A large Klingon/Lyran fleet
has breached our outer borders and has advanced on the solar
system. They have made a pincer attack and are attacking the
system at different vectors. You will take on the force alongside
two Mirak cruisers currently en-route. Don't get us wrong captain,
we expect heavy losses in this battle today, but we expect you
to destroy the force so we can rebuild defences in the area.
If you fail, the Federation's core will fall, leaving our sectors

was trying to stabilize its front after losing ground over the
previous three years. A portion of Mirak space was still in
Lyran hands, and the Mirak desperately wanted it back. The key
to the sector was a Lyran BATS which supplied the Lyran forces.
If it were destroyed, the Lyrans would have to fall back.

on the Wrath of Kahn where Kahn has went to capture the Regula

This game will simulate
the appearing of borg vessels thru a fissure jumpgate and a
high speed chase upon your vessel. These borg will be equipped
with the highest fighter weapondry and damage but can be destroyed
quite easily if you have time under the tremendous fire power.
After defeating the borg you must go back and destroy the jumpgate
powersource to win the game.

Warning:
Custom missions in your SFC2 scripts folder that were created
using the FMSE 1.02 editor will prevent you from loading a previously
saved campaign mission. You will still be able to play skirmishes,
however. If you want to play a saved campaign mission, you will
first have to move any of these scripts from your SFC2 scripts
folder to another place. The authors of FMSE corrected this problem
with version 1.03. Any mission labeled as FMSE 1.03 has been recreated
and no longer has the bug. Any mission labeled as FMSE
1.02 has not been recreated with the newer version and
will still have the campaign problem.
