Starfleet Command is based on the board game
Starfleet Battles, Starfleet Command was develop by Quicksilver
Software Inc & 14 Degrees East
and published by Interplay Productions.
Starfleet Command is a real-time space strategy/simulation. Unlike Starfleet
Battles that takes place in TOS Universe, Starfleet Command takes place in the
TMP Universe. Starfleet Command Volume II takes place right after Starfleet
Command Volume I which is still in the TMP Universe, SFC Vol. II is developed
by Taldren.
Starfleet Command Volume I:
Gaming Play:
You get to choose from 6 different Races, Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Lyran,
Hydran, Gorn. Command from frigates to dreadnoughts in a single player
campaign know as the Dynaverse™. Multiplayer features are 2 to 6 players can
battle it out via direct TCP/IP and IPX LANs, Two players via modem and
serial, and of course you can play on GamesSpy.
You can command up to 3 ships in a death match or cooperative missions.
Weapons:
Weapons include; Phasers, Photon Torpedoes, Plasma Torpedoes, Disruptors,
Missiles, Expanding Sphere Generator, Fusion Cannons, and the Hellbore Cannon.

Starfleet Command Volume II:
You get to choose from 8 different Races, Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Lyran,
Hydran, Gorn, ISC, and Mirak. Just as in SFC Vol. I you command from frigates
to dreadnoughts in both single player and multiplayer. Also in SFC Vol. II in
the multiplayer feature, you can play Dynaverse 2™, which is a online
campaign mode where you get to play against or with other players on the net.

Weapons include; Phasers, Photon Torpedoes, Plasma Torpedoes, Disruptors,
Missiles, Expanding Sphere Generator, Fusion Cannons, Hellbore Cannon and the
Plasmatic Pulsar Device.
