"I wish I could spend more time communicating with those guys," said Bell of the game's mod teams. "The team is thrilled that the game has an underground following and that people are taking the initiative to continue it.

The demo will feature at least 2 modes of play, a selection of weapons, spells & items plus a few maps. The actual release will be significantly larger, spanning across up to 8 game regions with 6 modes of play ranging from a variation of Deathmatch to a Co-operative story driven mode.

New Map - Update by Hobbes
Bluefunk must drink too much coffee. That's the only explanation I can think of for this quick, dirty, but still oh-so-much-fun map, slammed together completely in three hours!! Aptly named, 3 Hours features: lots of weapons, lots of ammo, and most importantly, lots of monsters. Want some quick mindless slaughtering? Look no further.

New map pack: Sins, by Bluefunk - Update by Gwog
Oh yes! Those that have been visiting this site since it launched might remember that the VERY FIRST news item ever posted here was a piece on June 14th, 2001, containing screenshots from a Hellraiser-themed map pack being worked on by Bluefunk. Well, the author of the excellent Lunacy has decided that his eight month vacation is finally over, and he has released Sins! This 5.1 MB download features custom textures, and the 5 Hellraiser-ish maps first mentioned here. Awesome.
Family Grave team interviewed - Update by Gwog
Jcal over at HomeLanFed tossed up an interesting interview with the gents from Family Grave, the recently released 22-map pack that almost everyone seems to be enjoying quite a bit. Gibdo and TheCrazyGerman talk a bit about their feelings on Undying, the process behind FG's long development, and other stuff that's cool. Check it.
TheCrazyGerman - Some day came the news that there will be no UNDYING 2. I was very sad - but I hoped that there will be a small community to keep the spirit of the game alive. And so I found the Standing Stones website on 3dactionplanet. That is the place, where all began.
I asked in the forum, if there is a mapper willing to do a project with me. I am a story writer in Germany, so I think I can invent some nice story plots. But: Because I have never mapped myself the only way to create a UNDYING map pack was to get help by someone. That someone came along - and his name is Gibdo.
