Undying Cheat and Development codes

We've got over seventy codes here, everything from codes to help you get past a tricky part in the game to codes that help you tinker with the engine itself. Standard warnings apply that it's very possible to break scripted events, so be advised that most cheats are best avoided until you've finished the game at least once.

To use the cheats below, just hit the
TAB key and type them in.


[O] Standing Stones' Full List of Cheat and Development Codes for Undying
AddAll
Adds all weapons and spells. Spells are only level one.

AmpAttSpell
Boost current spell one level.

Amphibious
Extends period you can live underwater.

AssAll
Spawns a donkey.

Astral
Noclip mode, type in Walk to disable.

BecomeLight [#]
Player casts light. #=1 for on, #=0 for off

Behindview #
Switches from first person to third person. #=1 for on, #=0 for off

Bring [name] [#]
Gives you spells and items. # is quantity. You can only summon one at a time, and you have to walk forward to actually get it.

This can be used to play with some of the spells and powerups that didn't make it into the final game:

CastFire
casts fire on the creature your crosshair is on

CastGlow
casts a glow effect on the creature your crosshair is trained over

ClearWeather
clear the weather

DeAmpAttSpell
de-amplify your spell by one amplitude

DebugHUD
toggles debug info in the hud

DebugMsg
turns on debug messaging

EnemyCrosshair
toggles the [green] color display of the crosshair when it is trained on an enemy

FireMe
catch yourself on fire

toggles flight activation

toggles flight activation

ForceHide [class name]
forces a class to be hidden

GiveMe [name] [amplitude]
name of the spell or weapon and amplitude if it’s a spell

Hide [class name]
unhides actors of a certain class or subclass under the supplied class actors that are not hidden by default will not be hidden by this use forceHide command.

Infinitemana [0 or 1]
toggles mana use on or off

Invisible 1
Invisibility (0=Off)

Jab
create an impulse on the pawn you are looking at this is one component of the effect we use for impacts of bullets, pellets, spears, etc on creatures

MagicSounds
toggle weapon and spell sounds was used when we had a silence spell earlier in development

Makewet
(disabled by default)

ModFOV [#]
modifies your fov by this amount, useful to bind modFov 30 and modFov -30 to your mouse wheel up and down to do quick zoom in and out with the mouse wheel. The fov is clamped at your default playing fov (110 by default).

MShat [#]
mindshatter yourself range of values is (1 to 5)

Open [mapname]
jump to any level within the game. The "CU_nn" maps are cutscenes, and "playground" and "SmokeTest" are test levels. Start also works.

PDP
tests player damage physics the screen throw like when you get hit by a howler

Pie
sets your mana to your mana capacity

RainDance
make it rain

RenderWeapon
toggles display of your hud weapon

Satan
sets health at 999 and will never go below 900. when it hits 900 it will shoot back upto 999

changes fov

sets your ground speed default is 400.

ShowActorNames
turns on general actor info when your crosshair is over one of them.

ShowArrow
shows an arrow in the world where you are aiming and is oriented in the direction of the surface normal in the world or the collision with a creature this command toggles on and off.

ShowFPS
toggles display of FPS counter

ShowPawnNames
turns on creature info when your crosshair is over one of them.

ShowStealth
shows stealth info on screen

ShowTex
when DebugHud is on, this will show information about the texture you are looking at and all of it’s properties.

Slomo [#]
Increase Speed of the Game (# = 1 - 5, negative numbers slow things down)

make it snow

Start [mapname]

tests the screen blood splatter you supply the # of hitpoints damage taken

Activate timedemo (0=Off)

ToggleHide [class name]
toggles the hidden flag on classes

unhides actors of a certain class or subclass under the supplied class

UseHealth, useWizardEye, useAmplifier, useLantern, usePowderOfSiren
direct access functions to use one of these from your inventory.

Walk
Turn 'Astral' or noclip mode off

WeaponSounds

Woo

WoundPawn
creates a persistent wound on the pawn you have your crosshair trained on
