INT. THE INNER DOOR- NIGHT
McInnery answers his RINGING phone.
MCINNERY
Hurry up.
INT. THE AGENCY- NIGHT
He reads out the first section from the cutouts. It shows 'three r'
AGENT
Three right.
INT. THE INNER DOOR- NIGHT
McInnery spins the tumbler.
MCINNERY
Check.
INT. THE AGENCY- NIGHT
The Agent reads the next section. It says 'eight l'.
AGENT
Eight left.
INT. THE INNER DOOR- NIGHT
McInnery spins the tumbler again.
MCINNERY
Next.
INT. THE AGENCY- NIGHT
AGENT
Six right. No! Wait. Sixteen right.
INT. THE INNER DOOR- NIGHT
McInnery spins the tumbler deftly.
MCINNERY
Get it right the first time.
INT. THE INNER DOOR- NIGHT
AGENT
Sorry. Last one. Nine left.
INT. THE INNER DOOR- NIGHT
McInnery spins the tumbler with finality. He opens the door and pulls the blue lever it reveals. Another HISS of STEAM is heard from within the security door.
It starts to open.
MCINNERY
Now get your ass out of here. I'll see you on the outside.
He hangs up and moves through the door.
INT. THE AGENT- NIGHT
The Agent pockets his phone and looks at his watch.
AGENT
( To himself)
Shit... running out of time-
A shadow falls over him. His eyes slowly move upwards to spy the reflection of Lobo in the shattered monitor.
AGENT
Oh no-
Lobo, in the reflection, raises the Berretta with frightening speed and FIRES. The Agent collapses.
Lobo looks down at the dead Agent and Controller with no emotion. He looks at one of the monitors. The Hitman can be seen dashing down a tunnel. The monitor has the words 'SECTION 6F' superimposed in the corner.
Lobo glances over at a floor plan of the Agency that is stuck to the wall. His fingers trace a path to 'SECTION 6F'.
Lobo exits the room.
INT. THE AGENCY TUNNEL- NIGHT
The Hitman dashes down the tunnel, heading in the direction of the inner door. We can only just make out his fleeting figure in the darkness, his FOOTSTEPS ECHOING. Suddenly he stops...
Another set of RUNNING FOOTSTEPS can be heard, far down the tunnel, coming closer and closer.
The Hitman starts to run again.
INT. THE ESCAPE ROUTE- NIGHT
McInnery walks quickly to a large service elevator, the only means of exit from the small metal room the inner door leads to.
