Cheats To Enable Cheats (PC): Unlike Hitman, the following cheats in Hitman 2 are typed directly in-game, rather than into the console. Open Windows Notepad Open the "hitman2.ini" file located in the Hitman 2 game directory. At the bottom add the following two lines: "EnableConsole 1" and "EnableCheats 1" (without quotes). Now save the file in its new state, overwriting the old one. Find the hitman2.ini file using Explorer or My Computer, right click on its icon, select Properties, and then check the "Read-only" box. Click the Apply button and then the OK button. With your hands empty, select the Ballers from your inventory. Now drop them on the ground. Equip the handgun you would like to have in your left hand. 47 will now be holding this gun in his right hand. Pick up the Ballers. 47 will transfer the gun in his right hand to his left hand, and place the Ballers in his coat. Now equip the handgun you want in your right hand. The guns will now fire just like the Ballers. There is also no reload animation, therefore no pause to reload, effectively making the clip hold the total number of shells you have. Sergei Corpse Bug: In "Redemption at Gontranno" enter the church through the front door, and walk directly up to the door facing you. There is no option to open it, but if you use the fiber wire, 47 will kill Sergei through the door. Now when Sergei exits the confession booth, his corpse will slide around on the floor until you "kill" him again to end the game. [Thanks to Martin] Lockpick Bug: When 47 begins picking a lock, wait one second, then access the map screen. When you close the map screen, the door will be unlocked. [Thanks to Catflap] Computer Cutscene Bug: In "The Graveyard Shift" placing the hacking device on the server shows a mini cutscene of 47 leaning back, pushing the computer forward, placing the device and then pushing it back. If at any point of this cut scene you access the map and then close the map screen, you will cause hitman to freeze for the rest of the scene. The computer will slide forward by itself and then slide back while 47 is frozen in whatever position he was when you checked the map. [Thanks to jonnyboy] Large Guns Bug: Hold a large gun, eg an Uzi, then pick the lock on any door, and 47 will put the gun away into his inventory. Quickly run away from the door whilst 47 is still picking the lock, and it will stay in his inventory, but not in his hands! You can then proceed to collect another gun, and perform the same trick! This also means that any guards won't be alarmed by you carrying sniper rifles, etc. around with you! [Thanks to CukyDoh] Automatic Sawn-off Bug: First equip the ballers. Drop them on the ground. Now equip any pistol, it really doesn't matter which kind. Now pick up the ballers, and you will see 47 put the chosen pistol in his left hand. Finally, equip the sawn-off shotgun. If you press rapidly there will be no need to reload, making it really fast. [Thanks to Paul Kapridov] Easter Eggs The Gontranno Sanctuary: When you start in the church yard go and find the scarecrow. If you get close enough to it and move around it slowly, the scarecrow's head will follow you! Also if you played the original Hitman you will notice that it is wearing the clothes of Ivan, Boris' nasty sidekick. [Thanks to Josh Burrows] Tubeway Torpedo: In one of the rooms inside the military headquarters basement, there is a newspaper with some Danish soccer teams on it. It says that FC Copenhagen won the Danish championship. Newspapers in the original Hitman also featured this team. View screenshot. If you shoot it, it says "Web Camera Has Been Destroyed" rather than the usual security camera message. That's because this camera is (most likely) a throwback to the "Trojan Room Coffee Machine" webpage, which featured a webcam pointed at a coffee machine, which ran from 1991 until 2001.
