CUT TO:
INT. THE HITMAN'S HOTEL ROOM- DAY
The door opens and a bleary Nexus enters followed by a perpetually prime Hitman. Nexus flops on the bed.
NEXUS
DAMN I'm tired... how the hell can you still be on your feet? We just went clear across the country!
HITMAN
Rest.
Nexus curls up.
NEXUS
That was my plan.
The Hitman exits with a duffel bag.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE HILTON- DAY
The doorman opens the door for the briskly walking Hitman.
DOORMAN
Good day, Mr. Blank.
HITMAN
Good day.
EXT. DOWNTOWN WASHINGTON- DAY
The Hitman walks to a side road and gets in a car he had parked prior. He drives down the street.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE GUN STORE- DAY
The gun store from the prior skirmish before stands with its smashed windows boarded up and police tape wrapped around the entrance. The Hitman drives up and parks in front. He gets out with the duffel bag in hand.
HITMAN (V. O.)
Looks like the scavengers have come and gone...
He walks round to the side of the store.
EXT. THE SIDE OF THE GUN STORE- DAY
The Hitman stands in the dank alley, with walls adorned with a whole plethora of graffiti. He looks upwards.
A rope dangles from the roof.
HITMAN (V. O.)
Looks like I'm not the first one here.
He flings the bag onto the roof before shimmying up the rope.
EXT. THE GUN STORE ROOF- DAY
The Hitman climbs up and looks over to view a smashed skylight with another rope leading down to the gun store's back room. The Hitman drops in the duffel bag and climbs down.
INT. BACK OF THE GUN STORE- DAY
The Hitman's feet CRUNCHES on broken glass. He walks around the store, which lays in some shambles, cabinets laying open, etc.
He moves to the nearest gun rack that has several empty spaces. He looks at the nearest weapon in the rack.
HITMAN (V. O.)
It looks like Lobo's taken some heavy artillery. Machine guns... best follow suit.
The Hitman takes a M60 down and shoves it into the duffel bag. He moves around the rack and picks up various hand guns, a sniper rifle, a pair of MAC-10s and a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun and ammunition.
The Hitman zips up the bag and flings it through the hole in the skylight. He climbs up the rope after it.
EXT. THE GUN STORE ROOF- DAY
The Hitman walks across the roof and looks down.
EXT. THE SIDE OF THE GUN STORE- DAY
The duffel bag falls and lands heavily on the concrete. The Hitman lands next to it seconds later, lightly, like a cat. He picks up the bag and moves around the store.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE GUN STORE- DAY
The Hitman moves to his car, opens the door and gets in. He drives off.
