IOI: Potty Mouths?
I got an easter egg if it is one, but here goes. You know when you are
caught by a guy and he starts pulling out his gun? well i told my great
grandmother about this and she's arabic. Well I was in the Tunnel Rat level
and my grandmother heard some of what they were saying. She understood
what they were saying and her cheaks grew a little pink. I asked her what
they were saying and she told me that it was not very appropriate. she
would not tell me what the words said, but she suggested that some very
baaaaaaad words. Thanx for listening to me.
P.S. I've read everything on your website and alot has really helped
me in my beggining games, thanx!!

Artificial For A Reason
The funny thing about the AI in Hitman is that the guards really can't put 2
and 2 together. If one guard has his back to another guard (in a way that
nobody can see the second guard), you can shoot this guard in the head and
the first guard will spin around wondering what the hell happened to his
body. If you are properly disguised, the first guard will have no idea that
that pistol shot came from you (regardless of the fact that you may be the
only one in the area with a pistol drawn and smoking).

Strong Words
I am 16 yr old Sikh in UK - I have been full of rage due to this game - please
read my letter. Think of it this way... the hitman is employed to take
down the Jewish Wailing Wall, The Islamic Holy site of Mecca and the place
where Jesus was crucified - where you have to kill all Christians. The
Golden Temple is without doubt the holiest Sikh site... and all people know
that there were tanks that rolled into the complex to kill many Sikhs on
a Gurpurb (Christmas equivalent celebration). Here over 10,000 innocent
Sikhs were purposely trapped and killed... we suffered a major loss... the
Akal Takht, seat of Authority built by 6th Guru (Prophet equivalent), was
knocked to smithereens... How irreplacable is that???
Im 16... I have seen blood stains on the sidewalk and gunshots in the
walls... Now Eidos wish to bring this event back to Sikh memories... how can
it not bring a tear to the eye. 17-year-old groups of 5 were lined up and
were shot "sustainably" by using one bullet!! I just get a bit annoyed
with people that cannot fully feel what I am saying. I agree killing is
wrong unless it is the last resort or if you are fighting to proterct the
unprotected. It's a game... no one complained about Grand Theft Auto 3 which
is OK... I feel thats it is humorous that there is actually a Sikh turban
wearing taxi driver with a funky accent. I feel that that is OK as it is not
a direct insult to my religion... as there are Sikh taxi drivers.
Now...Eidos with this game brought out the Sikh past which is hurtful
and poignent. Remember the Simpsons episode about the Twin Towers which
was scrapped??? WHY? well because it would remind people of the "bad" past.
I agree, if you lost someone you loved in there or anyone you would be
hurt to be reminded. Now this game is continuosly reminding us
Sikhs... why shouldnt the particular mission be scrapped? Look Guyz. How
would the Americans like it if the new eidos game Hitman was followed by
another game known as Hitman 3 - this time you have to hijack a plane
and crash down the Twin Towers in a suicide mission?

All About Dedication
I am a BIG Hitman fan. Could
you believe I liked this game so much, I played it on
a 233 Mhz CPU ? It was horrible, it took about 1
minute to load the Lee Hong mission, but hey, the
game was amazing! I mananged to get to the Say Hello
to my Little Friend level on that PC, which I say it's
a miracle, considering sometimes the framerate was
like the solw motion effect from the patch. But
thankfully, now I have a super PC and I can play
Hitman with no problems.

And that's all she wrote! (No, literally, people wrote this stuff). And thus
concludes edition five of the HitmanHQ Mailbag. Why not jump over to the forums and
discuss what you've read?
