Where's Tobias?
by: Tech21 and Classic | December 19, 2001

Day Ten "Kumbaya"
Max Payne Gets It ...Or was it? The Hitman awakens in a dark, ancient forest. Following a far-off light, he eventually arrives at a small clearing where several eccentrically dressed individuals ask him to join their "party of adventurers" and embark on their "quest." Not wanting to appear rude, Toby agrees. Besides, their might be some killing involved.

Day Eleven "Into the Depths"
Max Payne Gets It The Hitman was having a terrible time sneaking up the Dark Lord's minions, and an even worse time getting a wire around their necks. Needless to say, the other party members were a little astonished when he pulled an M134 Minigun from his inside coat pocket, and mowed down everything in sight - including the other party members.

Day Fourteen "UUUGGGHHHH!"
Max Payne Gets It Stumbling through the dungeon for days, the Hitman finally decides to take a break. He leans against a wall, which surprisingly spins around, dumping his blood-n-gut soaked body into a dingy alleyway. Two zombies mumble something to the effect of, "Quit laying down on the job!" ...And so the killing spree continues.

Day Sixteen "Road Rage"
Max Payne Gets It The Hitman concludes that working with the undead is a little too dangerous, considering he's not undead. So, he gives the zombies the slip and hitches a ride with a nearby vallet-parking attendant. He can't figure out why the valet actually shoots the owner of the vehicle, nor why the kid insists on driving so recklessly.

Day Sixteen ...cont. "Smackdown"
Max Payne Gets It The driver suddenly spins out of control, barreling through the Civic Arena service garage. As he stumbles from the car, two bodyguards rush The Hitman through the tunnel and into tonight's WWF tag-team rumble. To the screams of "Kill Him! Kill Him!" Toby draws his Hardballer and answers the plea.

Day Twenty-One "Dumpsters Rule"
Max Payne Gets It Luckily, no one realizes The Rock is actually dead until the match is long over, and our hero has had plenty of time to blend back into the crowded streets. And by blending back in, we mean dragging lifeless bodies around and pretending no one will notice. Finally, it's time for Father Vittorio to make his move...

And that's how it all happened. In a matter of three short weeks, the Hitman went from cold-blooded killing to picking flowers in a remote area of Sicily. Be it exhaustion, curiosity, or perhaps his fear of what the outside world can throw at a person, Vittorio was successful in persuading Tobias to drop the body where it lay, and follow him to paradise.
