The Lost Plot Twists
by: Tech21 and Classic | March 18, 2002
For those who have yet to hear the bad news (a.k.a. - those who live under
rocks), Hitman 2: Silent Assassin has been delayed from its original
release date of March 28 to sometime this fall, most likely September. For
hardcore Hitman fans the announcement was quite a blow. We were so
close, and with one news post we now seem so, so far away. Of course,
for HitmanHQ, the delay has different implications altogether. New
content - walkthroughs, strategy guides, tweak guides - were all so close.
And now they too seem so, so far away.
So what do we have instead? Well, on our last leg of creative ingenuity
we've managed to piece together the wackiest crossovers and plot twists
we could think of for Hitman missions. After all, one game can only carry
a fansite so far, so if you sense some desperation just keep it to yourself.
Now on with the entertainment!
"Kowloon Skater Becomes Roadkill"
|
|
As the Hitman has no doubt learned under previous circumstances, when a Triad limo
decides on its destination, nothing is stopping it. Not even a defenseless
street skater.
|
|
One more death in a profession of hundreds... What is a hitman to do? May as
well make the best of a situation. Move over Hardballer! The inventory
has a new addition.
|
|
"You know, I should really get back to that assassination. Ahh, who am
I kidding - this city has enough rails to keep me busy all day."
|
"The Lee Hong Bass-assination"
|
|
In a sick twist of fate, Lee Hong's speedboat runs out of gas in the middle of
Victoria Harbor. "I suppose some sunbathing is in order until the agency can
send an extractor."
|
|
"Hey, is that a fishing rod? Maybe I'll give this a try - from what I've seen
on television, fishing is a fun and rewarding pastime..."
|
|
[6 hours later] I got one! I got one! Oooh. Is my head peeling?
