Hitman: Unraveling The Plot
by: Blank | July 18, 2001
The Players
The entity which is known as "47" is a post-human. That is to say that it is
an enhanced clone from several sources of genetic material. These sources are
as follows:
|
Lee Hong
|
Hong, Lee - "Served in the French Foreign Legion for five years in
Vietnam, before returning to Hong Kong. Two weeks after arrival he poisoned
his Uncle and stepped in his shoes as the leader of the Red Dragon Triad.
Has ruled large parts of Hong Kong for three decades. Is known publicly as
'The man with no conscience.'"
|
Pablo Belisario Ochoa
|
Belisario Ochoa, Pablo - "Born in Cali, Colombia, 1932. He had two
choices - roll over and die, or become wise to the tricks of the trade in
crime-infested Cali.
At the age of 18 he already had several convictions, as well as being charged
with the manslaughter of a rival who was interested in his girl. Exploiting his
already vast network of connections, he managed to kill the judge and escape to
France, where he joined the French Foreign Legion.
After serving his contract with the Legion, he went back to Colombia in 1955,
and started to build up his own criminal empire. As a consequence of extremely
bloody battles between the Colombian cartels, Ochoa was forced to retreat to a
stronghold in the rainforest.
People in the region are convinced that Ochoa has nine lives. All efforts to
catch or kill him have failed."
|
Frantz Fuchs
|
Fuchs, Frantz - "Frantz Fuchs was born in Linz, Austria in 1929. During
the 2nd World War he was encouraged by his father to join different youth
organisations which gave him a uniform, instilled hatred in his mind and gave
him guns to play with. He had the thrill of his life for as long as it lasted
- but his whole word crumbled when the Nazis were crushed by the Allied forces.
Young Frantz, feeling the noose tightening around his neck, fled to Marseilles
where he joined the French Foreign Legion. Back in his true element, he soon
rose through the ranks, improving his childhood skills to become an explosives
expert and stealthy assassin.
After leaving the Army in 1955 he established a worldwide reputation as one of
the worlds most dangerous mercenaries. During these years, he has kept in
contact with his former legionnaire buddies."
|
Arkadij "Boris" Jegorov
|
Jegorov, Arkadij (aka "Boris") - Arkadij Jegorov was born in
Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan in 1930. Growing up in very poor circumstances,
constantly controlled and monitored by local and loyal Apparatchiks. He
learned to hate the Communist regime.
At the age of 15 he began to steal weapons and ammunition from the Soviets,
which he then sold to the Cossack Nationalists. When his father turned him
into the police, he hid in the mountains and eventually made his way to
Marseilles.
He served five years in the French Foreign Legion, from 1950-1955. In late
1955 he established a gunrunning route through Turkey and Iran. He sold arms
to anyone in the Soviet Union fighting the regime.
In the mid 1980's he went into business with the Russian mafia and scaled
up his operations to cover most of the world.
The Legion
The French Foreign Legion is unique among military units. It serves the
French government yet persons of any nationality are able to join. The
applicants must be 18 years of age, but that is the only stipulation. Recruits
are given the option of changing their name, and any misdemeanours in their
past are overlooked They are each given a Swiss bank account in a false name
in which their pay is deposited. This has made the Legion a hive of wanted
criminals, and the romantic days when men would "leave for the legion" are
long gone. Material theft is rife, and the unit has the highest percentage
of deserters in history. The soldiers, however, are tough and resourceful.
In the years between 1950 and 1955 the individuals mentioned above served
in the Legion. Each were attempting to escape their past and wait for an
opportunity to become wealthy and powerful.
