Here are some miscellaneous things about StarTropics 2: Zoda's Revenge that might help you out throughout your adventure.. or just for "the know".
Pikazo's Clue
You'll meet a little caveman artist named Pikazo whom of which has painted this clue on the wall. Follow these symbols and you'll make it through Yumyum's cave easily.

Tiles
The importance of tiles in this game has been dropped down to just two kinds. Most tiles do nothing, but some light up when you walk on them. You can jump on these tiles to reveal hearts or a "?" ball, in which will open a door, secret passage, or chest. You don't need to jump onto the tiles in this game; you can simply walk onto them.

Koopa Troopa
Heh heh... yes, this little guy makes a cameo appearance in this game.

Bobby
If you're stuck in Chapter 4, talk to this officer.. he'll arrest you.

Treasure Chest
Treasure Chests hold special weapons and items. Only "?" balls can open them.

Platform
In Chapter 3 you'll come across a vine maze in which you'll need to climb upon these platforms to see where you are going.

Cracked Wall
You can hit cracked walls to reveal secret passages.

Arrow Tiles
Arrow tiles will send you in that direction.

Raft
Rafts will float you around accross waterways, but be careful because you can walk off it and drown.

Brick Platforms
These play an important role in the game, so you'll see 'em everywhere. When you jump on one, another will arise, and then you must jump to that one before the one you're on sinks, killing you.

The Koopa Troopa enemy from Super Mario Bros. makes a cameo appearance in Zoda's Revenge.
