Within this tropical adventure there are many sorts of "blocks" or "tiles" in which you will encounter, so it would only be wise to know about them; they play a very important role in the gameplay.
Regular Blocks
Most of the time you will see these blocks as green, but they can be yellow as well. You can jump on them safely.
Sink Blocks
These blocks look like just regular blocks, but watch out! They sink and rise. You can only jump on them when they rise above the water. Don't stand on it too long because if it sinks while you're on it, it's instant-death for Mike!
Button Blocks
They look just like regular blocks until you jump on them, leaving a footprint and revealing a button(in which appears on another block somewhere else in the room). These button blocks are used to open treasure chests, open doors, and blast open hidden passages.
Special Button Blocks
What looks to be just a pressed Button Block is actually a Special Button Block. You will need to jump on it more than once, and sometimes you'll even need a "magic word" to activate it!
Light Switch Blocks
These are in blacked-out rooms. If you are lucky enough to find one in the darkness it'll turn on the lights.
Breaking Blocks
Uh-oh! If the room starts to shake, you better get out quickly because those blocks are about to shatter and drop Mike to his doom!
The OTHER Sink Blocks
These blocks are always white, so keep an eye out for them! They stay above the water until you jump on them. You only have enough time to jump on one and then jump off, otherwise Mike is fish-food.
Space Blocks
Space Blocks are Regular Blocks, but can only be found in the spaceship.
Space Sink Blocks
These are actually supposed to be "garbage shoots", or something to that effect, but in reality they are just like the good ol' Sink Blocks! They have a catch though: if you find the right one it'll take you to a secret room!
