Master Sword
Number 174
Description
The Master Sword varies a bit between titles in the Legend of Zelda series, but it's generally the most powerful blade that Link can carry. It's a magical weapon that can be wielded only by a true hero, and, as its name implies, it's the weapon of choice in decisive battles. At the end of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link returned it to its stone pedestal.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
11/98
How To Obtain
Trophy appears at random in Classic, Adventure, and All-Star Modes from the beginning.
Error
  • The Master Sword first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES). If you wanted to get real technical, some say the Master Sword was featured as early as the original The Legend of Zelda (NES). It has been reported (although I have not personally seen this) that the early releases of the game called the third and final sword the Master Sword rather than the Magical Sword.
