Just when you though the game was getting easier, this stage pops up.
The Metal Mario stage is quite difficult for the fact that it takes forever to take out your opponent.
Metal Mario has a very high defense (and a high attack) and you need at least 200% on him before you can even think about giving him the boot.
The match itself does not involve much fighting (fighting as in two characters go head on against each other) because Metal Mario walks left and right across the platform.
He may once in a while attack you and when he does, he hits hard.

| Strategy |

Here you have to use the hit-and-run strategy.
Try to hit him hard, then run; once he recovers, hit him again.
This way, Metal Mario will not get a hit into you.
Also, if you hit him off the edge, try not letting him back on (his Jumping Uppercut will prevent you from doing this often).
He is pretty heavy and will fall hard if you can slightly get him off the edge.
