These
are Beta patches for Z:SS, preliminary releases which improve
many gameplay issues but can offer some problems and unexpected
behaviours - therefore the "Beta" tag. For LAN
and Internet Play we strongly recommend the Patch 4 Beta
2 for its souped-up netcode, balance tweaks and anti-lag
features. For Skirmish play, you'll have to stick to Beta
1 since you can't change AI teams in Beta 2 (they all team
up with you). The Bitbros are aware of this bug and a new
patch will be released soon.
Attention:
Always
make sure you download the correct patch version for your
software language (eg. English, US, german, etc), or else
the software will report a missing Z:SS disk.

patch, which doesn't require the previous ones to be installed.
