Chapter 5: Enemies
Guide to the Majesty Demo: Vampiric Revenge

[Giant-Rats] [Ratmen] [Trolls] [Flowering-Strangleweed] [Zombies] [Skeletons] [Minotaurs] [Vampires]

Giant Rats:
Rats are present in all the kingdoms of Ardania.  It is rumored that they are spies for their larger bipedal cousins, the Ratmen.

-Will appear in any developing community
-Creates a nuisance in your settlement by random attacks

Ratmen:
Ratmen are greedy thieves, leaping forth from sewer entrances to waylay Tax Collectors or raid unsuspecting settlements.  it is theorized that these giant vermin are the result of magical discharge seeping ito kingdom sewers, mutating the rats that dwell therein.  It is rumored that they stem from a central warren with a population rivaling the greatest cities of Ardania.

-Average skill in melee combat

Trolls:
Little is known of Troll ecology.  It is theorized that their regenerative process is also their method of reproduction.  This would explain the remarkable similarity of all specimens encountered.
 
 

-Attracted to active Marketplaces and Trading Posts
-Will regenerate any damage they have sustained

Flowering Strangleweed:
A twisted strain of plant life resulting from the misguided magics of Pyrog the Shadowed, it is rumored that multiple Strangleweeds in a small vicinity share a collective, almost animal intelligence.
 
 

-Remains stationary
-Difficult to locate, they do not appear on the mini-map
-Fires poisonous spores

Zombies:
Zombies are animated corpses still in an early state of decay.  When the ether winds of Ardania blow with great strength, recently fallen heroes may arise from graveyards within your kingdom.
 

-Weak melee combatant

Skeletons:
These animated bones are raised through necromatic spells of dark origin.  When the ether winds of Ardania blow with great strength, recently fallen heroes may arise from graveyards within your kingdom.

-Weak melee combatant
-Resistant to attacks by missile weapons

Minotaurs:
Minotaurs are a twisted breed of warriors.  It is rumored they were created by the sorcerer Andravus to serve in his army as shock troops.  They were instrumental in the conquest of Lormidia in the year K.A.1412
 
 

-Strong melee combatants
-Constantly seek battle against a kingdom's settlements and heroes.

Vampires:
Vampires are the most feared of all undead.  It is believed they were created by an evil sorcerer's experiments in extending his own life by draining blood from the living.
 

-May attack in melee combat or cast life draining spells
-Life draining attack heals wounds they have sustained
