  Frequently Asked Questions
If you have any questions not posted in the FAQs or not found anywhere else around the site, then drop a line to webmaster@smashbros.planets.gamespy.com or use our easy Feedback page.

General Questions
Q. I have linked to your petition page. Could you please link back?
A. I have received several of these requests, but unfortunately, we have stopped the SSB3 Petition (mainly due to spam). I apologize for any inconveniences but it had to be done. So to answer your question, I cannot place your link/banner because it simply does not exist.
Q. Can I join your staff?
A. SSBA is coming to a point where we can safely call the site done. However, we would like to continue growing the site in more interactive ways. So if you think you can improve this site in any way, then you can become a staff member.
Q. Can I be a mod?
A. No, we are not accepting any more moderators on the Smash Bros Arena Forums.

SSBM Questions
Q. What is a Meteor Smash?
A. A Meteor Smash is an attack that smashes the opponent to the ground (or quite often down out of the arena). To save yourself from utter destruction, press your jump button at the same time the Meteor Smash attack lands on you.
Q. How do you get Sonic or Tails?
A. A while back ago, EGM played a prank by stating that you can get Sonic and Tails by getting 20 KOs in Cruel Melee. However, this was only an April Fools joke, so the code does not work. Then to answer your question, you CANNOT get Sonic and Tails in Super Smash Bros Melee.
Q. When you use Ness's up B attack and hit yourself striaght on top of the head on a solid platform, a small ball of lighting sparks moves around him. Do you know what this does to Ness or is it is a element to look at?
A. About the Ness electricity thing, I have heard that he becomes faster and stronger. But when I went to the Training Mode to test this myself, I did not observe any physical differences (other than the lightning running around his body). Hence, I believe it is nothing more than a simple glitch.
