Jumping Uppercut - he jumps while doing an uppercut; this stringing uppercut is a little stronger from the last game
Fireball - shoots out a red, fire-ball like object that bounces on the floor
Cape - the Cape turns around any enemy and gives minimal damage; this attack is unblockable
Tornado - he spins in a tornado like fashion and juggles his opponents in it and then shoots them up; if you hold and repeatedly press the button, he will float a bit (which can be used as a semi jump)

Strategies
While Mario is just an average character, he does have a few decent fighting techniques as well as a variety of reliable attacks. When you're on the ground, you may want to use the Punch, Punch, Kick Combo and the Spin Kick often. When in the air, the Flip Kick is quite fast to use, but may be a bit weak compared to his other attacks. His Sideways Kick and his Reverse Flying Kick are always great alternatives.
VS Mario
When playing against Mario, you need to watch for a few things. First, he will almost always use his Fireball if their is some distance between the two of you. Next, you'll learn that Mario has a tendency to use its Jumping Uppercut during most situations. So if you are airborne and he is below you, be ready for that attack. Another attack you should watch out for is his Headbutt. He usually counters your smash attacks with this, and more than likely it will be effective. Other than that, you should have any problems with this average character.
Target Test

  1. Move to the right and hit the target.
  2. As you fall down, hit the second target.
  3. Launch a Fireball to the right to hit the target.
  4. Jump from the edge and hit the next target.
  5. To hit this target, double jump away from the edge, then use the Jumping Uppercut (towards the edge, else you'll fall) to hit the target.
  6. Launch a Fireball down towards the target.
  7. Travel to the right towards the moving platforms. Jump on one of the platforms and then launch a Fireball into the small gap to hit the target (may need to do this a few times to get it right).
  8. Once you reach the top, hit the target.
  9. Slowly find your way down. Once you get close to the next target, throw a Fireball to get rid of it.
  10. Finally, at the level of the 10th target, jump twice (use your Whirlwind attack to gain more altitude if need) and hit the remaining target with your Jumping Uppercut.
