Strategies
Donkey Kong has the advantage of strength, so you should try and use this to your advantage. When fighting with DK, try to be defensive and punish your opponents when they make a mistake (usually by grabbing and throwing them). One of DK's best attacks is his Back Throw, which should be generally used over his weak forward throw. This attack comes in handy against those annoying Kirby players that constantly use the Thrust Kick (coincidentally, I happen to be one of those Kirby players).

Another one of DK's strong points is his reach. Use attacks such as Super Slap against enemies during a hand-to-hand combat. Usually, your greater reach will allow you to hit your opponent before their attack touches you. If not, then you and your opponent will simply cancel-out attacks.
VS Donkey Kong
Battling against DK shouldn't be too much of a trouble. First of all, he is extremely slow and his attacks will take time to execute. Therefore, use quick attacks to knock him off guard. While playing, DK will use his Super Spin Attack during tough times. This attack will allow him to regroup himself so he could find a better offensive position to attack. If you're playing with Captain Falcon, you're bound to have an easy match.
Bonus Stage 1

  1. Hit the target.
  2. Turn around and hit that target.
  3. Jump on the left platform and hit the target.
  4. Jump on the middle floating platform and hit the target.
  5. Jump on the next floating platform and do a Super Slap to hit the target.
  6. Jump up and do a Super Spin Attack to hit the target...
  7. ...and still in that attack, hit this target.
  8. Jump on the above floating platform; then jump to the right twice and perform a Super Spin Attack to hit the target.
  9. First, fall past the target (you are stunned from the previous attack) on the floating platform. Then jump up and hit the target.
  10. And finally fall down and hit the target with an air attack (preferably an Air Shove).
Bonus Stage 2

Click on the picture to enlarge.
  1. Run and jump on the first platform.
  2. Then jump on the next platform.
  3. And once again, jump on the third platform.
  4. If you went through the first three pretty fast, then this next platform should be ready for you to jump on. But be careful, the platforms go away fast. Also, once you jump on the first platform, then the next one will be ready for you to jump on...
  5. ...quickly jump on this one...
  6. ...and finally this one.
  7. Move down from that platform, and move across until you get to the next platform.
  8. From here, let yourself off this first ledge (don't jump), jump once, and finally perform your third jump.
If you choose a character with only two jumps, then fall off the ledge again, and jump up, watching the platform above you. After that, then jump down to the platform.
  9. From there, jump to the first blue ledge and then hit the next platform.
  10. From there, jump the rest of the three ledges and hit the final platform.
