Super Smash Bros Melee was declared the winner of the Best Overall Game in the Nintendo Power Awards Vol 156. Nominations were shown in Vol 154. Here are the results from Super Smash Bros Melee. Here are the nominations and results for SSBM (*categories it won; *categories it came as a runner-up):
Comments: Also the best GC game this year. Comments: Check out our Gallery page for pictures on this game. Comments: My favorites were musics from past games and settings, like the original Mario theme. Comments: Yeah, the sounds were ok. But then we have Star Ocean: the second story (on PS One)... Comments: I generally don't expect sequels to be good (Majora's Mask), but we can make exceptions. Comments: More exciting when you play with friends. Comments: Umm...it was kind of fun..but best... Comments: LOTS OF FUN. Comments: He is enormous. Wish he was a playable character, though. Comments: A character? Poor guy got so abused. Comments: Very fun when using it; not ver fun when you're on the other side of it. Comments: A meteor smash? I amaze with combos (there aren't many combos, though).
