While MGS4 was supposed to be Kojima’s last entry the series, he seems to have had a change of heart recently. Isn’t he ready to move on to other things? Dunno. We will no longer support the old boards hosted at ForumPlanet and you will need to register on the new boards as they have no association with the ForumPlanet/IGN/GameSpy login’s. Also the Series section is up and running though none of the actual games sections are up yet, as that will be an on going process but I should have the MGS4 section up by the end of this week with many many updates coming.

"For months now, everyone has been told that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots would be the final chapter in the Metal Gear Saga. Wrapping up more than twenty years of the Metal Gear mythology, MGS4 is the culmination of the franchise. Or is it? According to an interview with Associate Producer Ryan Payton on MTV’s Multiplayer blog, there will be more for fans to get into in the future."

"Once the truly awful registration process was completed, MGO ran pretty much without a hitch — or, at least as well as you could expect a public beta originating from Japan to run. We experienced sporadic connection problems — specifically when the host decided he’d had enough for the day — and a few inopportune moments of lag that allowed an enemy solider to get the jump on me and close-quarters-combat my brains out. I can’t possibly speak on behalf of the entire beta-player population, but MGO ran pretty solidly. Forgive the pun."

Publisher signs on to Nokia’s reimagined mobile gaming platform; Solid Snake’s tactical stealth game leads offerings in June.

"Konami’s first title to be available on the N-Gage will be Metal Gear Solid Mobile. Winner of the 2007 International Mobile Gaming Award, MGS Mobile features the series’ signature tactical stealth action gameplay and an in-game camouflage system that implements real-world color samples captured by the mobile device’s camera. The game was developed in conjunction with Ideaworks3D."
