The iQue hardware was Nintendo's foray into China, a land that has historically run rampant with piracy. The iQue is different, however: it uses the Nintendo 64 hardware and a flash memory card with a unique security features to download games from a secure "iQue Depot." This method of distribution doesn't involve any physical media. It is now known that Nintendo intends to bring the iQue to other Asian and South American countries.

News and Updates:
Thanks to a Lik-Sang.com News Update, it appears that other Asian and South American countries will receive their own localized version of the iQue. It's unknown when this is going to happen, though. At this time, there are no plans to bring this device to America.

Also, here's a very odd trailer for the iQue version of F-Zero X. In a few shots, they've added some effects, and one section is running in reverse. It also features some new, more edgy music (if only Nintendo would have released this trailer over here, maybe F-Zero X would have been a bigger hit).

Points of Interest:
- Current iQue Flash Carts has 250 blocks. F-Zero X uses 63 blocks of memory.
- As with all iQue games, the full game manual does not come with the software, and it costs extra.
