F-Zero AX | Pilot Profiles
#31: Don Genie in the Fat Shark

Age: 65 Body: A
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: B
  Grip: E
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 2,490 kg
Theme Song: 31_-_F-Zero_GX-Don_Genie.mp3

Don Genie is the famous head of universal traders. He has been arrested several times for secretly trading in energy resources and weapons. Each time he's arrested, he's forced to pay a small fortune in bail to get himself free. At this time, it's unknown whether Don is participating in the F-Zero races because he wants to publicize his trading company, or whether it's for fun. One thing's for sure, though--it must be related to some sinister gambling ploy he's put together. It's rumored that Don Genie has some connections with Black Shadow, the emperor of evil.

In order to flaunt his mega-millions, the ostentatious Don Genie spent a huge amount of money developing this top-notch machine and outfitting it with extraordinary capabilities. Since Don has a great many enemies who would love to take his life, he placed the most emphasis on body durability when designing the Fat Shark.

#32: Digi-boy in the Cosmic Dolphin

Age: 8 Body: E
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: A
  Grip: C
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 990 kg
Theme Song: 32_-_F-Zero_GX-Digi-Boy.mp3

Digi-boy's real name is Terry Getter, and he's a young genius currently attending Einstein Academy. While he's still just a kid, he's been dubbed Digi-boy because there's no digital device he can't deftly use--he's even invented many of his own. He's also analyzed every past F-Zero race and has subsequently devised a perfect equation to work with his self-built machine so that he can win the next race. In his dictionary, there is not such word as luck.

Is seems that Digi-boy, the young man who boasts of being able to predict the outcome of races perfectly, designed his machine efficiently. The body strength is minimal, which matches Digi-boy's safe driving technique--he very rarely bumps other racers. Its weight is deceptive, and is primarily a boost-focused machine. At any rate, since it was built by Digi-boy, it's no doubt a top-notch machine.

#33: Dai San Gen in the Pink Spider

Age: 64 Body: C
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: C
  Grip: A
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 1,100 kg
Theme Song: 33_-_F-Zero_GX-Dai_San_Gen.mp3

These triplets come from the planet Shinar. The average life span of the beings on Shinar is is 200 years, extremely long compared to that of earthlings. However, even after reaching adulthood, they remain quite small. Because they use telepathy, they don't need to speak to communicate. Dai, San, and Gen have incredible teamwork skills and an amazing ability to operate their machine as one. Dai takes care of the handling, San handles the navigation, and Gen handles acceleration and braking.

The Pink Spider was designed by Professor Tsumo, a huge fan of gambling, and uncle to the triplets that pilot the machine. Individual cockpits have been designed for Dai, San, and Gen, and ejection seats have been added to all of them in case of emergency. Due to the crescent moon-shaped balancers, called "spider legs," that are fixed to both sides of the machine, it has excellent grip capabilities.

#34: Spade in the Magic Seagull

Age: Unknown Body: B
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: A
  Grip: E
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 1,330 kg
Theme Song: 34_-_F-Zero_GX-Spade.mp3

Spade is a circus performer and an accomplished magician. He has decided to take up racing in order to win enough money to rescue the circus from it's financial difficulties. His racing techniques are risky and sometimes amazing, but he's quite fickle and will sometimes drop out of a race suddenly or not run it seriously. As a result, his overall record isn't that great. Nobody, not even his friends at the circus, have seen the face behind Spade's mask.

Spade and his circus buddies built the Magic Seagull during their time off. The flat, streamlined form provides low wind resistance, allowing the booster to attain full power. Unfortunately, the grip strength is relatively low, and the width of the machine itself makes it quite dangerous. Furthermore, it has nothing resembling a door, and if the machine would explode, Spade would go with it.

#35: Daigoroh in the Silver Rat

Age: 10 Body: D
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: A
  Grip: D
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 880 kg
Theme Song: 35_-_F-Zero_GX-Daigoroh.mp3

Daigoroh is the only son of Samurai Goroh. He's so bad that even his father can't keep him under control. Daigoroh is a master swordsman and love to run riot with his sword whipping through the air. He has immense respect for his father and will boast about him regarding any subject. He hopes to earn the praise of his father by defeating Captain Falcon, his father's biggest enemy. As a pilot, he has more aptitude and potential than his father, and many are eagerly waiting to see what kind of pilot he grows up to be.

Daigoroh didn't want to pilot a machine similar to the Fire Stingray driven by his father, Goroh, so he choose the Silver Rat. The craft is actually modeled after the Green Panther, the machine driven by one of Goroh's enemies, Antonio Guster. It has exceptional boost abilities, but its grip power suffers as a result. The Silver Rat is slightly smaller than the craft it was modeled after, which makes its body strength slightly less. It therefore requires increased pilot control to avoid contact with other machines during races.

#36: Princia Ramode in the Spark Moon

Age: 16 Body: B
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: C
  Grip: B
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 1,620 kg
Theme Song: 36_-_F-Zero_GX-Princia.mp3

Princia Ramode is the princess of the Desert Kingdom on Planet Magica, a society with highly advanced scientific knowledge. Her characteristic curiosity often leads her into mischief and gets her into dangerous predicaments. In order to increase her wisdom and life experience before becoming queen, she secretly ran off with her servants on an adventure to a host of other planets. When she arrived on Earth, she happened to catch a glimpse of an F-Zero Grand Prix and whimsically decided that she, too, wanted to race. Knowing that no amount of persuasion will budge her once she sets her mind on something, her servants were left with no choice but to prepare a machine that fully utilized the scientific technology of Magica.

The Spark Moon was developed using the advanced technology of Planet Magica, and it was specifically designed so that even Princia Ramode could post decent results in her first Grand Prix attempt. To avoid any risk of injury to Princia during the race, the most cutting-edge safety systems were installed. The artificial-intelligence database implemented into this machine was formulated with control-technique data from the most famous F-Zero pilots in history.

#37: Lily Flyer in the Bunny Flyer

Age: 14 Body: D
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: B
  Grip: A
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 1,414 kg
Theme Song: 37_-_F-Zero_GX-Lily.mp3

Lilly is affiliated with the reserves of the Galactic Space Forces and has received extensive warfare training, beginning shortly after she was born. She has always received excellent marks in her training classes and has even participated in recent skirmishes as emergency support. While she sometimes displays the air of a naive little girl, she strictly obeys every command of her superior officers and aims to execute all of her responsibilities perfectly, regardless of their nature. Lily has entered the F-Zero competition simply as part of her training. She hopes to polish her snap decision-making skills under pressure.

The Bunny Flash is the leading next-generation land warship. Its bulky armor and cannon weapons are offset by a cute, round shell that hardly suits a ship of its power. The Bunny Flash has advanced grip and boost capabilities that enable it to corner cavalry forces during actual combat.

#38: PJ in the Groovy Taxi

Age: 35 Body: B
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: D
  Grip: B
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 1,280 kg
Theme Song: 38_-_F-Zero_GX-PJ.mp3

PJ works as a cabbie for Galaxy Cab, a company whose taxis travel from planet to planet all over the universe. As the biggest earner at Galaxy Cab, he demanded an increase in wages, which resulted in a fight with the owner of the company and wound up earning him a temporary suspension. PJ then saw an article about the F-Zero races, and it changed his life. He took all of his life savings and transformed his taxi into an F-Zero machine. Can he really take the driving skills that he forged as a taxi driver and use them to win the Grand Prix?

The machine was renovated from an ordinary interplanetary taxi. Even though the cockpit seats four, the Groovy Taxi's grip rating is high, making it very easy to control. However, reckless driving isn't tolerated in the taxi industry, and so the naturally the Groovy Taxi lacks superior boost capability. The machine has a meter in it like any other taxi, and calculates the fare for each race when finished.

#39: QQQ in the Rolling Turtle

Age: Unknown Body: A
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: D
  Grip: B
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 999 kg
Theme Song: 39_-_F-Zero_GX-QQQ.mp3

QQQ is a junk robot that was found buried in a scrap pile in a galactic waste-management facility. It's still unclear why it was discarded there, but it was coincidentally picked from the heap and repaired by a very able space-police detective named Phoenix, and quickly became his partner. For a robot, QQQ's construction is quite obsolete, but it's artificial intelligence is still considered cutting-edge for any age. QQQ is tortured by the knowledge that some very important data lies somewhere in its AI programming. Since the robot was damaged when it was thrown away, its memory cannot currently access it. The truth of the mystery data is this: QQQ was brought from the future by Phoenix and has the necessary navigation hardware to traverse time. However, if its AI is not repaired (thereby restoring its memory), it will never be able to return to the future.

Phoenix constructed the Rolling Turtle from a man-made military satellite that had been discarded in a galactic waste-management facility. He turned the parts into an F-Zero machine so that his partner, QQQ, could man it to provide mission support. Because it was originally constructed with highly durable parts for military purposes, Phoenix has absolute confidence in the body strength of the Rolling Turtle.

#40: Phoenix in the Rainbow Phoenix

Age: 26 Body: B
Cost: 20 Tickets Boost: B
  Grip: C
First Appearance: GX/AX Weight: 1,080 kg
Theme Song: 40_-_F-Zero_GX-Phoenix.mp3

Phoenix is a time traveler who has come back from the future. His role is that of a space detective dispatched to protect the natural progression of time and history. He came to this era after receiving information that an event in the next F-Zero Grand Prix would change the history of the entire universe. He's now busy in his beloved time machine, the Rainbow Phoenix, trying to stop this event before it occurs.

The Rainbow Phoenix is usually used as an undercover patrol car. It wasn't built by the Galactic Space Police, though--Phoenix designed and built it himself in secret. It's tuned to be a very easy machine for novice pilots to control. Since it's actually a machine from the future made with an unknown advanced technology it has the ability to win the championship easily. Because of this unfair advantage, a limiter has been installed to reduce its capabilities. The Rainbow Phoenix currently runs at only 80 percent of its potential.
