Page 6 - HRA

When Tom Nook sells you your house, he gives you the option to join the Happy Room Academy, a group of animals who judge your house every day depending on how you set up the interior (not including the basement). No one knows who these mysterious animals are, but you'll get a letter from them every day with the score for your house and a little hint on how to make it better.

Why bother trying to please the HRA? Well, there are items you can only get when your score passes 70,000 and 100,000. Plus, it's just fun to see how high of a score you can get.

Collection Points
It's important not to confuse the 3 diffrent types of furniture collections. Serieses, themes, and sets give diffrent amounts of points, and work better in diffrent parts of your house. A series is a large collection of mostly functional furniture that gives the most points but only gives points in the middle floor, and is always accompanied by a wallpaper and carpet. A series doesn't nessesarily need to be completed to give points if you have the "necessities" of it (bed, table, chair, and a storage item). A theme is also usualy a large set, but almost always of non-functional furniture, and usualy comeswith a wallpaper and/or a carpet. A set is a small collection of items (sometimes functional, sometimes decorative), occasionaly has either a wallpaper or carpet, and is the only type of collection that gives points for being completed on the top floor.

The points for collections goes like this:

Series
Completed Series - 48,000
Wallpaper & Carpet in same Series - 10,000
Wallpaper or Carpet in same Series - 4,800
All Necessities from a Series - 16,000
All Necessities from a different Series - 4,400

Theme
Completed Theme (per piece) - 7,000
Completed Theme Bonus - 15,000
Wallpaper & Carpet in same Theme - 10,000

Wallpaper & Carpet without matching Series or Theme - 1,000

Set
Completed Set (per piece) - 3,000

Item Points
Most items give at least a little bit of points regardless of wheather you have completed collections or not. The harder the item is to find, the more points it'll give. Prizes and seasonal items give even more points. Here's the the points go for individual items:
