Easter Eggs
Call the Star Fox Team
Characters Fox, Falco
Location Corneria, Venom
When you're in the stage as either of the two, press left and right continuously on your D-Pad until your character goes down onto the ground and starts vibrating and preforms a special taunt. The other three Star Fox members will have a humorous conversation telling you to get out of the way while they beat up the enemy. If you're hit through any part of the process, the whole trick stops. You can only do this once per match.
Super Grappling Beam
Characters Samus Aran
My favorite Easter Egg (and probably the most useful one), this will allow Samus to have an extended and homing Grappling Beam. To activate it, rapidly press the Z button while pressing Down and Up constantly on the D Pad. The next time you press Z, the beam should be extra long. If not, then try again. Once you have achieved the Super Grappling Beam, there are two ways to use it. First, you could just press the Z button to activate the beam; the beam would just go straight across the screen. In the second method, activate your beam by first pressing R and then A (or Z); this time, the beam will be homing. Now, in both methods you have to press an additional A (or Z) once the tip of the beam is over an opponent. If you do not press the additional A (or Z), the beam will go straight through the enemy, doing nothing. Also, when you are knocked out, you lose your Super Grappling Beam, so you'll have to re-obtain it.
Glitches
Mystic Ness
Characters Ness
How to get Mystic Ness (as I call it). There's a type of transfromation Ness can make. Stand on something flat with Ness and use PK Thunder hit yourself down so that you don't move at all, DO NOT jump and use PK Thunder again. It should make Ness calapse. To tell if it worked, Ness should have electricity running over his body. However, this does not enhance Ness in any way.

Third Eye
Trophies Daisy
If you zoom in on the back of Daisy's head (in the Daisy trohpy), you will see that she has a third eye.
Other Interesting Things
Secret Surprise
Items Any container or Poké Ball
Occassionaly, in Melee or Special Melee mode, an enemy from Adventure mode will appear if a Crate, Barrel, or other container is opened. They sometimes even come out of Poke Balls!

Here is a list of monsters that have been known to appear:
  • Goomba
  • Octorok
  • ReDead
  • Like Like

Item Number
Trophies Barrel
On the bottom of the Barrel Cannon you will see 2L84ME. If you sound it out correctly, it reads 'Too late for me'. Now I wonder what that means?

Onett Caution
Location Onett
In the stage Onett, there is a town message board that warns the citizens of a crazy driver in a black van. Here is the message on the sign:
A black van driven by this guy has been spotted racing recklessly through town. Be careful!
