1. Music Sync (8/10) There were many parts of the video that had great syncing, though there were a few places here and there that were a tad awkward. Overall, excellent feel. 2. Storyline (9.5/10) Havoc did a great job of portraying the story leading to and in Shadow the Hedgehog. The extra media that he added besides the video and music, such as custom voice acting and clips from Sonic Adventure 2, greatly helped in this regard. 3. Use of Effects (8/10) The title and credits effects were incredible, and some of the slow-mo and zoom added to the dramatic effect. Though most of the video lacked somewhat in this area, adding effects would be unnecessary and excessive. Therefore, the effects that were used were very striking. 4. Fitting Lyrics (8.5/10) The lyrics in the song were very good and helped to add to the mood and tone of the video, though there were some parts that didn't really work. 5. Exhileration (8.5/10) Havoc took advantage of some of the nice build up in the song, in conjunction with some cool scenes and effects to get the viewer excited. 6. Wow Effect (7.5/10) Though there wasn't too much that struck me throughout the majority of the video, I was impressed by some of the extra effects, media and timing in certain parts, resulting in a high "wow" rating. 7. Huh Effect (9/10) There were very few moments of confusion or awkwardness. 8. Use of Program (9.5/10) The title effects, overlays, great image quality and video effects demonstrated a great use of the program. 9. Cleanliness (9.7/10) Though there were a few moments of scratchy cutting, for the most part the editing was great. In addition, the high definition video clips, especially those from Shadow the Hedgehog, were amazingly clear. 10. Overall Quality (9/10) An excellent piece of work, very deserving to appear on SoaH.
1. Music Sync (9.5/10) Though it wasn't perfect, the video was in sync to the music very well. Darion Kaoz truly took advantage of the song's many dramatic effects in enhancing his movie. 2. Storyline (10/10) The storyline was very effectively portrayed. He had enough background within the video that even somebody who's never heard of Shadow can understand what has happened. He also managed to take an ending different from that of the game, and have it make sense. 3. Use of Effects (10/10) The effects used help you to understand what is in the past and present, as well as what memories are distorted or painful to the main character. They help to advance the story in many ways, as well as fit to the music. 4. Fitting Lyrics (10/10) Darion Kaoz takes full advantage of the lyrics in telling the story, and is probably the most important aspect in telling it. Every line fits and makes sense. 5. Exhilaration (10/10) You can feel Shadow's pain and confusion in this video through the way the autor tells the story. 6. Wow Effect (10/10) The entire time I was watching this I was thinking, "Amazing." 7. Huh Effect (10/10) Nothing was confusing or awkward. 8. Use of Program (10/10) In the wide range of effects and timing displayed in this video, you can tell Darion Kaoz took full advantage of the program's capabilities. 9. Cleanliness (10/10) The pictures were crisp and clear, even those taken from SA2. Everything was neatly and cleanly cut. 10. Overall Quality (10/10) This is a true masterpiece, more than worthy of appearing on SoaH.
