Unknown to our heroes, Dr. Robotnik is not the main villian of this game and a deep rooted hate from an old enemey of Sonic's comes forth offering a challenge to Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to stop him. While that's going on, Rouge takes a peak inside one of Robotnik's warehouses and finds Shadow who has forgotten everything and an e-series robot, Omega, angry that the doc locked up. Meanwhile, Big and Cream find out that they're friends are missing so Amy leads the way to find them back. Then on top of all of that, over at the Chaotix Detective Agency, Charmy brings in an anonymous package containing a walkie-talkie that asks for their help in return for a cash reward. The four teams of heroes set out on their mission in Sonic Heroes.

The Music
The Sonic Hereoes music are in order by track number. Songs are from the Complete Trinity Soundtrack and the TRIPLE THREAT Vocal Trax. The vocal soundtrack also came with the theme songs from Sonic Adventure, but they with the Sonic Adventure music page.

Sonic Heroes 3:29
The game's theme song is no where near as good as Open Your Heart or Live and Learn, but some people may enjoy this perky theme song. As some many already know, the song is done by Crush 40 which is a band formed together of people that have done songs for the Sonic Adventure games.
Team Sonic - We Can 3:19
Also done by Crush 40, this song just doesn't feel right. It's no where near as good as any theme song, but it's a Sonic theme song though.
Team Dark - This Machine 4:23
Either this song or What I'm Made Of... will own you. This song done by Julian-K, a side project of some members from Orgy. This song just totally kick ass. Great dark upbeat action song. A must download.
Team Rose - Follow Me 3:34
For some reason, this song is actually not bad. It's kind of scary how cute this song is and yet it's rather good. If you think you heard this person's voice before, you may have because it's done by Kay Hanley, who did music for the Josie and the Pussycats movie. Though, it's not everyone, but if you're into pop type music then you should download this song.
Team Chaotix - Team Chaotix 3:41
Although some may not like this song much, it is rather fitting and has a great beat to it. I would give it a try. You might like it.
What I'm Made Of... 3:44
Either this song or This Machine will own you. This song done by Crush 40 and it's one of their best up in ranks with Open Your Heart and Live and Learn. You have to download this song.

SONIC HEROES / Opening ver. 1:30
STAGE 01 : Seaside Hill 2:42
This upbeat but relaxing song is used in the First Stage with the beach and hill theme to it that we've seen many times in screen shots. The song has bits and pieces that resemble Azure Blue World and Windy and Ripply in Sonic Adventure's Emerald Coast stage.
STAGE 02 : Ocean Palace 3:42
This song is similar to the Stage 1 song, but it's different with more of an upbeat nature to the song. Also, this sounds less like it's from an Emerald Coast song.

Grind to action to this somewhat dark and fast song. This song is used in the long grinding mountain stage, also known as Hard Stage on the demos. Parts of the song remind me of stages from Sonic Adventure 2.

If you liked Rail Canyon, then you'll like this song better (or maybe the other way around).
