Did Someone Say "Omake"?
At long last, a new section has been added to Sector: NGP. It's been a while, but there's finally a page to organize all the odd bits of NGP Fandom collected around here -
the Omake section! In the Omake section, you'll find various special reports and features, ad scans, SyxxPac's collection of animated gifs, and countless other goodies. Well, actually, we tried counting them but lost interest after a few minutes. Check it out for yourself!

Hello?
Substance J here, with a test of sorts. Over the past week I've been working on my new computer, transfering files and such. I think I've got all my programs running smoothly, and all my backups in place. Let's see if this update works...

NGPC Ads and Adverts
From the land of the "Arse" comes a wonderful piece of visual stimuli, sent to us by Dockaych - proving just how dreadfully boring we Yanks are. Here's a comparison of recent advertisements from both countries:
Site Notes
With less free time than desired, we've still got a number of backlogged items to add to the site. Reviews, FAQs, Links, etc. Thanks for your patience.

New Dates
Some quick translations have revealed some interesting new info. In the Japanese scene, there are new dates for Metal Slug: 2nd Mission, Cotton, SNK Gals Fighters (only 20 days from now!), and get this...Gekka no Kenshi - The Last Blade! There are also some other changes, such as ADK's World League Baseball being renamed Dynamite Slugger. On the US front, we've added the current, tentative timeframe for Dive Alert. Check it all out in the Coming Soon section.

"The First Update of the New Millennium"
Ugh! Is everyone else sick of this Millennium nonsense? Well, at least most of the hype is done with...and we're back! The latter part of December wasn't a good month for Sector: NGP, with the usual hassle of the Christmas and New Years holidays, and substance J sick with the Flu for its entirety. But now that things have calmed down a bit, we've got a handful of updates and more on the way...the Christmas season yielded many great games, old and new, that are set to be reviewed in the near future. substance J is also planning to tidy up some various sections of the site (most notably the Games section), since things are getting rather messy as we continue to grow. Well then, on to today's actual updates...
MotM Mania
The Games section has been updated with new reader review and FAQ submissions. First off, MotM reviews by
Jolly Green and
BamBam...followed by FAQs by
Godai Kyoko and
Daniel Riley (More MotM reviews can be expected in the near future). Lastly, a lost review of
Puyo Pop, by Andrew Byus, has been re-added. *phew!*
GIFs
Finally, we've managed to upload the latest GIFs from Syxx Pac. New characters include FF Kim, Terry, Mai, SS2's Hanzo, and a new Genjuro animation as well. You can find them at their usual location.
Other Stuff
The news postings of December 1999 have been added to the News Archives, available below. Also added is the spiffy matching Archive logo.
