The favour action is one which is not often used, but can be useful in increasing resolve within your faction.
Conversation System.
Depending on who and what you choose as variables to the action, what you see on screen may well differ from my screenshots. This walkthough shows you how the action unfolds - for specific game help and hints about actions see other parts of my site or the manual. The ingame tutorial will also help.

let's get the action going via the normal route. |
There are quite a few variables in this one - firstly I have to choose a faction member to perform the action with. I've gone for Boris. |
His wealth district is offered, with several different locations. |
"The Hot Adjika" looks nice. |
Zakuski looks better though! It also has a higher secrecy rating. |
As always, in actions involving two faction members, both timeslots are automatically filled with the appropriate icon. |
The action starts. |
Here they both come... |
... and sit at a nice table. |
The conversation setup screen appears. Like in Blood Brothers, the required 30 points is not hard to gain. Read up in the Blood Brothers page for details of why. As you can see I have set up my four arguments, with one particularly heavy to ensure I win the specific rounds I need to win. |
We chat casually for a while. |
The conversation game window appears |
And as you can see, by using my best argument at the right time I have won him over. The conversation games are always fairly easy early in the game, but increase in difficulty at later levels - where a little luck is needed! |
You can see here that the "deal" is on the table, so to speak. It was placed there before the conversation game started. |
As we get a rather interesting view of my (i.e. the person performing the action) back, the guy whom I am performing the action on (Boris) moves forward and pick up the envelope. Things are looking good! |
I stand... |
... and point at him angrily. What's up? |
After a brief rant, I walk away. |
I wait outside the entrance. |
Out comes the phone... I guess I'm calling the faction leader. |
*chat chat chat* |
Boris walks away... and the action finishes. Now what happened? I won the argument... but it doesn't look like we were on good terms at the end! |
And now I see why... the deal wasn't good enough. Even though I won him over with my argument skills, the fact that I was performing this action at the most basic level meant that he didn't take it up. I will have to increase my star rating of this action and have another go another time. |
I'll update this action at a late date when I have a more powerful version of it... the red icon on this screen shows me my failure (and resulting loss of morale) so I'm not going to have any better luck if I do it again now! |
