An important action for increasing morale and keeping your best people in the team, this action should be used wisely for once you become blood brothers with a faction member, you can't kick them out - unless they somehow "get lost".
Conversation System game. See walkthrough for details.
Depending on who and what you choose as variables to the action, what you see on screen may well differ from my screenshots. This walkthough shows you how the action unfolds - for specific game help and hints about actions see other parts of my site or the manual. The ingame tutorial will also help.

Let's get going with the action... clicking on my picture and selecting Blood Brothers. This action is quite a drain on Force funds. |
We need to choose which faction member to do the action with. Boris? |
Or Josef? |
I plump with Boris... now we need to choose a place. |
I could choose this alleyway... |
... but this alleyway has a much higher secrecy rating, which may help. |
Notice the symbol for this action now covers both his time slot and mine, for obvious reasons. |
As soon as the action starts, I have to set about setting up the conversation game. Elsewhere on this site there is an explanation of the conversation system, but in simple terms, I need to score 30 points out of a possible 100. Not too hard. I have 17 "points" to use which I need to distribute amongst my four "arguments" which are all currently set at 0. |
I have a very useful tactic for when I need to get less than forty points to win. You simply concentrate on rounds 4 and 8, both of which offer 20 points each. Because each "argument" has to be different, I put one at 0, the next at 1, the next at 2 and the fourth as high as I can possibly go, as shown in the screenshot. This way, I can throw away my bad arguments on the lower level rounds (1,2,3,5,6 and 7) and be sure of a win on the most important two rounds (4 and 8). |
That done, I hang about for my faction dude to show up. |
Here he comes. |
A short embrace... |
... or two... |
And we're off. See the green "argument"? I have clicked on that one to use in round 1 (which as you'll notice at the top/middle part of the conversation section, is worth 5 points). |
As expected, the yellow 5 shows I lost that mini round. but not to worry of course... that's all part of the big plan. |
At the end of the 8 rounds, I am victorious. The plan worked great and I won the two 20 point rounds - bringing my final total to 40 - 10 above what I needed. |
I chat with him for a while. |
It's actually a very heated discussion. |
Lots of arm waving and stomach rubbing for some reason! |
For a while I think he might have decided to go against me... but not to worry - the knives have come out! |
He takes his knife to his hand... |
... and slices, crying out of pain. |
"Wussy!" |
Having done my own, we clasp hands. |
And embrace... knives still wet. |
Little things - like him continually looking at his hands are amusing to watch. |
One last shake of the hands to make it a little more formal, and he departs. |
And the results of our efforts - his resolve has increased by an impressive 33%. |
