Well it's now been 29 days since I have contacted Microsoft about my red-ringed 360 and about 2 and half weeks since they have had it.  Come on already!! I have 14 days left!!

I shall be a very unhappy camper if I don't get it back by then.  Not because I won't have it, but because I'll have to go buy another one!  Evil or Very Mad

What my dad did was buying a warranty, which was around $59.95, and its worth it for the fact that if you have that problem, you take back the xbox 360, and get a brand new one in less then a day Smile

Even though everytime you need a new one it uses up that warranty... but a lot better then having to pay $400.00+ all over again Wink

It used up the warranty?

It shouldn't have.  If it's a year warranty, your dad should be able to return his xbox for a hundred xboxes if need be.

I sent mine into Microsoft because, I did have a warranty, but where I bought my Xbox from, they never had any.  It would take weeks for them to more in stock.  Warranty was pretty useless.

Glad to hear you got the 360 back, and in plenty of time for BioShock too.  I'll be praying that your system doesn't "red-ring" again.

As for the faceplates, in the case where I win, how would I go about fitting one of these on my PC? As an optical drive bezel?  Wink

In other words, prizes for teh OMG PCz R TEH 13377 FTW!!1 fan club would be awesome too Very Happy
