This New Years Eve marks SoaH's 7th Birthday and since there are seven chaos emeralds, we have to do something super! Thanks to Sega of Europe, I've gotten a brand new copy of Sonic the Hedgehog for the XBOX 360 PAL Edition to give away!

For your chance to win the game, you have to submit a photograph of yourself showing your love for Sonic and/or SoaH. Bonus points for creativity, humor, and image quality. Send an e-mail to contest@sonic.planets.gamespy.com with your picture.

Of course, since this is a contest there are some rules:

- One picture per person
- Images must be PG rated
- All pictures must be e-mailed by Midnight December 29, 2006 CST.
This contest is open to all ages as long as they have a PAL TV of course. (Sorry North America fans, we'll do something for you next time.) I'll pay shipping so this is totally free. Heck, I'll even autograph it if you want me too (which I know you don't want).

I reuploaded the Sonic the Hedgehog vocal songs as zips, thus fixing the one that was a lower quality, adding a fade to the Solar Phase 2 Boss song, and I added the Dreams Of An Absolution ~Nightlight Remix~ and Sweet Dreams Alt. Ending. I also fixed the stage songs that were zero bytes for the single song downloads.

Well, I featured music from Sonic 2006 which was the first to have co-op, but how about the first to have 1.5 gameplay? I've reuploaded Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Music to the GHZT server. All files are there. I was told that some of my downloads for Sonic 2 didn't work, so I fixed that and everything works now. There's even a zip collection to download all of the music.

Here it is guys! All of the game songs from Sonic the Hedgehog have been uploaded. There's even a zip collection to download all of the songs, and it's hosted on two places just in case something happens.

I'm hoping someone here can help me. I'm looking for the movies from the game. I know Sonic-Cult had torrnets posted, but I missed them and now no one is seeding them. If anyone has the movies and would be willing to send them to me, please contact me.

Man, it's been a long time since the last update, huh? Well, I have some great news for everyone. For those that dislike File Planet, the GHZ Team has provided us with some web hosting space, so we've put up a bunch of our files over there. The noteable files are: Sonic Riders OST, SatAM Music, and Sonic Heroes Movies. The new Sonic the Hedgehog game for the XBOX360 will be out any day now and we'll have movies and music of the game soon.

Today I bring you the Sonic Rivals trailer that features Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, and Silver. You can download a good quality version of the movie that's been floating around the net for a few days, but now without any watermarks other places have. However, I have something that beats that in quality. Oh, say 3 HD (yes, 1280 x 720 HD) clips from the XBOX 360 version of Sonic the Hedgehog. You'll need a pretty powerful machine to play those short but nice movies. Enjoy.

In the Sonic Heroes music page there's now a zip collection to downlaod all of the soundtrack songs in one easy file. Sweetness, huh? Hey, send in those remixes and flash movies! If you know a someone whose made one, tell them that SoaH's looking to host them.

I've finally posted the Sonic Adventure 2 Movies and updated Media Players Guide. The Wallpapers section was updated with two new Sonic Underground wallpapers and most impressively, we will now host PSP sized wallpapers! There are 8 Sonic Team PSP wallpapers to start out with. I have a ton of wallpapers still to upload. (Dioxaz I didn't forget about your wallpapers.) I will also have some new remixes up soon.

Woah, it's different, huh? The layout of the site hasn't changed much. I've been getting some criticism that it was not easy to find stuff on the site. The icons at the top of every page should make surfing much easier. Also, you'll notice that I've done away with the whole sort by games thing. Everything can now be found within the navigation bar.

Another reason for the new navigation is to show that I want SoaH to focus on media only. Made it simple. There are a few new sections to the site: Flash, Remixes, and Icons. Check them out. I'll have more content for the new sections soon. Take a look around and submit some stuff to SoaH!

Although Sonic's birthday has passed, there's still things going on over at the message board. I'm working on some projects for the web site. One project that has been taking my time is a Mac OSX Nack/Fang fan game, Triple Fang, so if you have a Mac check it out. New logo with art by Darkspeeds is up.
