Page 7 - Getting Around

While the layout of every town is diffrent, there's alot of common things in every one. There's at least 2 levels (and sometimes 3) in every town. Special places will always be in either Uptown or Downtown.

Uptown
Town Square
The town square is where the 4 player houses are located as well as the town message board where you can leaves messages for all to see. The town square looks like 4 big houses on the town map.

Tom Nook's Store
(9 a.m. - 10 p.m.; 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. at Nook 'N Go stage)
Nook's store is the only place in town where you'll regularly be able to buy items such as furniture and clothing. It's also where you can send items and recieve items via codes. Tom's shop looks like a large red house on the town map.

Train Station
The train station where you arrive in town and where to go if you want to go to others. It also has a public map of the town. The train station looks like a large white square always at the farthest north of the town.

Post Office
The Post Office is where to go if you want to mail letters obviosly. But, it's also where to go to deposite money and get items from e-Cards. In the same acre you'll also find the town theme board where you can put in a town theme. The Post Office looks like a letter on the town map.

Town Dump
The dump is where to go to get rid of old items and pick up old items left by fellow villigers. It's emptied every Monday and Thursday at 6 a.m.. The dump looks like fencing on the town map.

Lake
The lake is not only a great place to go fishing, but it's also the location of many of the town's events. The lake looks like a large bulge in the river on the town map.


Downtown
Police Station
At the Police Station you can talk to Copper about upcoming events (and get a map if you're a visiter to the town), or go inside and look at the Lost and Found items with Booker. Outside there is also a public map. The Police Office looks like a badge on the town map.

Museum
At the Museam you can donate fish, insects, paintings and fossils for all the town to see. The Museam looks like a building on the town map.


Able Sisters (7 a.m. - 2 a.m.)
The Able Sisters shop is where to go to make patterns that you can use as cloathing, wallpaper, carpeting, front doors, and signs. The tailers' shop looks like a shirt on the town map.

Wishing Well
The Wishing Well is where to talk to Tortimer for most of the town's events. Also, talk to the well and he'll tell you the status of your town. The Wishing Well looks like a spring on the town map.

Dock
The dock is where to go if you have your GBA hooked up and want to go to Animal Island. The dock looks like a small white square over the ocean on the town map.


Light House
Most of the year the ligh house is mearly there to look cool, doring his vaction, Tortimer will leave it to your care and'll give you a gift if you do well. Thn light house is always located in the acre that the river meets the ocean.
