Ogre Battle
A graphical preview of the highly anticipated Ogre Battle has been added to the Games section, sporting some new scans from Neo Geo Freak magazine.
Current and Future Software
Metal Slug: 2nd Mission should now be available just about everywhere in the US and Canada (finally. woo hoo!), so the Software Data page has been updated accordingly. The Coming Soon section has been updated as well. Not much is new, though...unless you're the type that gets excited about each new Aruze Kingdom game. Didn't think so.

Mmmm, Plurals
The Games section has been updated with substance J's full Review of SNK's estrogen-packed Gals Fighters.

Gah!
Wow, this past week hasn't been conducive to updates. Between server troubles, school hassles, Appendicitis, Insomnia, Car break-ins, Puzzle Link 2 addiction, and other collective distractions, we've
been busy. OK, OK...we just slack, really. More timely updates should be up soon...
New Gifs
New Gifs by SyxxPac have been added to the Omake section. Included in this batch are Hibiki from Last Blade, as well as original custom Gifs (!).
3rd Party MP3 Unit
Can't wait for SNK's MP3 accessory? You might want to check out Songboy. The Songboy unit - to be released in early Spring 2000 (??)
for both Neo Geo Pocket Color and Gameboy Color - will feature support for MP3, WMA, AAC, AC3, MPR, VRC, WAV and SDMI file formats, a USB port,
headphone and microphone jacks, on-screen utilities such a graphic equalizer, file quality, lyric display, and more. The unit will ship with a lowly 16MB flash memory card
(perfect for those with extremely limited tastes in music, or very short attention spans...), though it can be upgraded to a more man-sized 32MB. The "estimated" retail price is $79.00.
While the Songboy's specs aren't necessarily ideal, it's very cool to see this kind of support for NGPC. Now...if someone can make a fully functional MP3 player, why is
Nyko's Worm Light taking so long?

Visual Stuff
4 new (technically, old...since they're from a May 1999 issue of Weekly Famitsu) ad scans have been uploaded and added to the Omake section, along with new Gifs. The new scans are:
New Software
Today we received US versions of Dive Alert: Matt, Dive Alert: Becky, Puzzle Link 2, and Gals Fighters. When called, most local stores had yet to stock them (other than EB, which had Gals Fighters), but they're indeed officially out (SNK USA's move from Northern to Southern CA is slowing down shipments, we suspect). Hopefully retail locations will stock them soon (Toys R Us seems to have stopped selling NGPC games and hardware, for example)...

Puzzle Link
substance J's review of Yumekobo's Puzzle Link has been added to the Games section.
Omake
The Omake section has been updated with a load of new Gifs from Last Blade, Match of the Millennium, and King of Fighters. This time, something new is being given a try...full color "hacks" of some characters. Have a look! They're purdy.

Omake
The Omake section has been cleaned up a bit, and a new section has been added. First off, new gifs by SyxxPac have been added to the Gifs area, including brand new Last Blade characters. Secondly, an onsite Audio section has been put into place featuring a handful of Wav files from Dive Alert and Metal Slug: 2nd Mission. Have a look...or a listen.
Battle De Paradise
The ever so faithful Magic Box has posted 2 scans and early information on SNK's King of Fighters ~ Battle De Paradise! The game seems similar to Mario Party, as you make your way around the board, encountering mini games such as the one shown below (the Fatal Fury arm wrestling challenge lives on!!!!). Check out the Magic Box for complete info and another pic. Speaking of which, the Links section has been updated to reflect their new URL. Funny to think that after all these years, the Box has finally left Geocities.
Neo Turf Masters
Torture's review of SNK's pocket Golf game, Neo Turf Masters, has been added to the Games section.
Links
The Links section has been updated with a link to New Earth, a cool new Neo Geo Pocket-related website.
