Magical Games Section Update
Zero's take on the little talked about puzzler from Data East, Magical Drop Pocket, has been added to the Games section. The holiday break for S:NGP has proven to be far less productive than anticipated, but a couple more reviews and FAQs should still be on the way shortly.

Kikouman
A review of substance J's favorite new RPG, Kikouseki Unitron, has been added to the Games section. Giant mecha. Swords. Clubs. Firepower. Busty Elves...hey, that doesn't sound like something J would like!
More Bang For Your Buck
...And you thought Dive Alert drew a lot of puns. Well, it seems that just about everybody and his grandmother has stocked Big Bang Pro Wrestling now. And Videogame Depot as well. And yes, if the Rage stocks it, we'll mention that too. A copy should be arriving here from NCS any day now, so you can expect to see some coverage soon. So, who wants to bug VGD to stock Nige-ron-pa?

New Titles Arrive Stateside
Those looking for the latest wave of releases need wait no longer. Big Bang Pro Wrestling and Infinity Cure have at last been stocked by upright online shops such as Tronix and National Console Support. Go forth. And hope someone picks up Nige-ron-pa for all the RPG addicts out there.
NeoNews...Hoorah SNK UK
Jim Taylor has provided us with some great scans of NeoNews, a free mini magazine sent to UK retailers as a promotional item for the NGPC. The first and last Spring/Summer issue is presented in 5 parts below. Most of the scans push some serious K's, but the man-sized images make for a good read. Some of the text is rather interesting, especially mentions of what could have...and should have been...like KOF Battle de Paradise in English, and whatnot. C'mon, 'ave a look.

Swingin' International Ads
The Omake section has been updated with two new ad spots, thanks to Monkey. The Dutch magazine scans can be found in the proper Omake subsection, or below if you're feeling especially lazy. Those I'm Not Boy fellows sure get around, eh? Toffe games indeed...

Big Bang Update
The Software Data section has been updated with Big Bang Pro Wrestling's language support status. And yes, it does display in big bold SNK-English as you've all hoped. BBPW should be available from most importers sometime next week.

Final Neo Freak Report
The new December edition of Neo Geo Freak marks the end of the magazine's 5-year run. This issue starts off with a retrospective look at SNK software and hardware from the MVS, to the underutilized Hyper Neo Geo 64, to our beloved Neo Geo Pocket, and even a complete chronological list of MVS arcade titles spanning 10 years. The usual ads are in place (check out Nige-ron-pa's spot), and of course, game coverage. A massive Capcom vs. SNK technical guide is presented, along with final looks at (among others) Dreamcast Gekka no Kenshi, home ROM KOF 2000, Nigeronpa, Big Bang Pro Wrestling, and the continually delayed (canceled?) Playstation version of Metal Slug X. Nice to see the Slug image gallery has made a return. A Gekka no Kenshi Final Edition ad caps off the issue. Ugh, the symbolism. Speaking of which, this month's poster insert not so coincidentally depicts the lone wolf Terry Bogard, duffle bag in hand, heading off into the sunset. *sob sob* This is quite a good issue of Freak, well worth picking up. If only the reason for it being memorable were different.
Ah well, time to lighten up. Hello Miss X! Cosplay keeps life fresh, you know.
