Software Update
Hey! It's Halloween...who's got the scary "President of Aruze" costume? Speaking of Aruze, they seem to have pulled a fast one by changing the release date of PachiSlot DELSOL 2. Or perhaps we just weren't paying attention (can you blame us?). Regardless, the Pachinko simulator has been released in Japan during the past week, and the Coming Soon and Soft Data sections have been updated accordingly. ALSO this past week, the 2nd anniversary of the monochrome Neo Geo Pocket's release came and went. Last year we put together NGP - Year One, a retrospective look at the life of our beloved handheld. It is still a rather interesting read if you weren't into the NGP at the time, or just want to live in the past.

Same Forum - New Host
The Sector: NGP forum has recently been moved, thanks in large to the efforts of Paleface for coding and hosting its new incarnation. It's essentially the same forum - all the posters you know and love...and hate. All the "n/t" posts. All the controversial color schemes. But with no ads, no goofy tricks, and no missing posts! Well, not yet at least. Some testing is still underway, but everything appears fully functional and now available at http://www.paleface.net/z/sngp/. Join us if you dare.

Nigeronpa...From The Source!
S:NGP Forum-goer Atarianallstar probed Dennou Eizou's Japanese BBS recently, and gained some interesting initial information on Nigeronpa. Presented below is a copy of the original message from the webmaster. Big thanks to Atarianallstar for passing this info along!

Date Changes
SNK's official release list was updated at the beginning of the week, though the only news to report is delays. Big Bang Pro Wrestling, Infinity Cure, Nigeronpa and PachiSlot Del Sol are all set to be released in November now, with no exact dates mentioned (however, NCS reports that Nigeronpa and Infinity Cure are scheduled to ship on November 23). Our Coming Soon section has been updated accordingly.
