The
Vulcan Pre-TOS Destroyer/Interceptor prototype Ahn-Vahr (Sword), and
the predecessor to the TNG T'Pau II.
It was the first Vulcan destroyer/frigate to use mater/anti-matter to power the warp core.
Designed as a short range, interceptor in response to the
UESN/Romulan war. It's maiden voyage took place on 2154.
