This is a very short action, but used in the right place, it can be an effective tool for gaining the type of support you are after.
Slider Bar, available for a few seconds near the start of the action. You can choose to spread a message of Anti-Capitalism, Anti-Government or Nationalism; your choice should depend on the area you choose and your faction ideology.
Depending on who and what you choose as variables to the action, what you see on screen may well differ from my screenshots. This walkthough shows you how the action unfolds - for specific game help and hints about actions see other parts of my site or the manual. The ingame tutorial will also help.

From the game world view, I'm selecting Graffiti from my faction members list of available actions. |
I'm put into the map view. I need to set nothing except the place to commit the crime... (read: "enlighten the people") |
This lovely looking... wall... looks good to me. You'll notice it is in a red district, which will always be the place that gritty actions like these will go down best in. |
OK - our time slot comes up. |
As the action starts, the camera has trouble keeping up with my guy - he obviously doesn't want to hang around too long here. |
I get to my wall pretty quickly. The tweaker bar comes up, offering me anti-government... |
...anti-capitalism... |
...or nationalism. Just for the hell of it, I'll choose this one. |
Let's get going then! |
The can's out and we start spraying... |
Looks like he's doing a little dance! |
Oh - and isn't that nice. |
As you can see, I don't hang around long to see what people think of it. |
It seems a shame that the people who live in this pretty nice place... |
... have to look at this as they come out of their house each morning! He he he... |
Let's see what support we gained then.... but what the...? There wasn't any neutral support to win over. Damn! To gain support you need to have neutral people in the area first in order to win them over. If people are already aligned with another faction, they will need convincing that their choice is a bad one (via other actions) in order to make them neutral - then we could set about winning them over. |
Let's try that action again elsewhere. This wealth district isn't the best place to do a graffiti action, but there is a lot of neutral people here (indicated by grey section of piechart). |
Let's see... this wall? |
Or this one? Oh - what the heck - this one is fine. |
Here's our guy off again. |
this time I'm choosing anti-capitalism (another bad mistake I guess, as this is a wealth district!) |
Let's watch him work. |
"You put your left arm in! Your right arm out!" |
"In Out In Out Shake it all about!" |
"You do the Hokey Cokey and you turn around..." |
"That's what it's all about!".... |
Let's get moving! |
You probably can't see but he's legging it out of there... |
In roof-top view you can just make out the image on the side of the wall. |
And it went OK - seeing as we made a few errors, 22 points of support extra isn't bad at all. |
