I played version:
1.10 Well I have played it though, and I can say this - VERY VERY NICE, I like it allot!!!!!! You need arms of all kind here. You tanks and Recon users only, forget about winning this, you don't stand a change. Well digged in Inf, covered by AD, ART and AT will wear your tanks down. 2000 experience point 15+ tanks can do nothing here, you need battletested Art and Inf. I like it allot. You will also not get though without a big Air force and AD. When fighting against UK and US air force, you can get in very much trouble. If you don't have many battletestet (VERY high experience) fighter and AD in these scenario, the US bomber are going to kill you quick, and they are plentiful. UK fighter and US bomber are a deadly combination!!! - very very good. The prestige point are managed well, I used most of my prestige to overstrength my units - you need to do that. I ended up with 8 tanks (3xKingtiger, 3xPantherII, 2xPantherG), 3 Antitanks guns (JgdPanthers), 6 Art (17 K18), 3 Flak (88mm Flak 41), 4 Inf (Sturmpioniere), 6 Fighters (Me-262) and 6 Bomber (2xStuka Ju-87G, 4xStuka Ju-87D). My highest experience point was a tank with 3185 points (no tank under 2500!), my lowest was 967 on a Flak gun. Non of my Art was under 1700 points, non of my Inf under 2200, no bomber under 2300 and no fighter under 1800 (highest 3085!). Take a look on my result, look at the number of enemy planes !!! - they will kill you quick if you don't do something. Also I got all 15 leaders. If you are wondering why I had no Recon, I had, but I got to careless in the end, and the enemy killed them all. Some of the had very high experience :( For you new gamers play this at 200-250% prestige mod. For the medium players play at 150%, and for you experience players play at 100% (I did that). A real challenge would be at 50%. At 0-25% this can not be won. It seams that I was wrong about the "not win" at 0-25%. Kovacs Laszlo (Kovi) kovi@keszthelyi-rt.hu has gone though it at 25%.
