Two new maps "Perekop" (Russia) and "Port Lyautey" (Morocco). The Perekop map is an impressive map. Damn nice work. Update of the Datup. Some bugs and some new icons form the 11th update.
Strange is it not :) only one map. Usually there is a horde. Well only "Bagdad" (Iraq). Remember it takes 24 hours before the Fileplanet servers will list the following downloads. The Italian Server you will see is useless :) Update of the Datup. The resulting Panzer2.dat is now over 27Mb in size. New Scenario Editor (with integrated Efile and savegame editor) by Luis Guzmán. Quite nice. Update of Carl Ankerstjerne's Campaign editor, Equipment file editor and Panzer2.dat viewer, which is now named Panzer2.dat tool. New MapReport program by Luis Guzmán. Basically this can check if you have the corresponding SHPs to the MAP files you have. Works for PeG also (S16) I don't play Peoples General too much, but I made a Peoples General Extra Editor, just like for Panzer General II. Its a Test version, so you hardcore PeG players will have to tell me if something is wrong. Update of the Panzer General II Scenario Extra Editor. A few bugs. A couple of converter tables more for the scenario converter.
1 new map, "Ulm" (Germany).
7 new maps, "Grebbe" (Netherland), "Dutch Harbor" (USA-Alaska), "Anzac cove" (Turkey - Gallipoli Peninsula (a Beach name)), "Westerplatte" (Poland), "Yelnya" (Russia), "Carpathian" (Russia-bordermap) and "Birhach" (Libya) Note "Trondheim" has been moved to #190, do to that "Dutch harbor" had #189, which I has assigned to "Trondheim". Since there is scenarios for "Dutch harbor", and Bill's page is not likely you be updated at the moment, I thought it was better to have it compatible with the download there. So please download "Trondheim" ones more to have up to speed maps. Update of my Extra Sceanrio Editor. New Scenario / Savegame Spec. Update of the Multi PBEM program. Update of the Luis Mutlieditor. Last by not least an awful cool tool by Leonid Usachov, a BMP/SHP splitter! Ok its a DOS tools, but it works great. This tools can extract a complete BMP image out of a series of SHPs or make a series of SHPs out of a complete BMP image. uhuhuuh Love it !! A bunch of new links have been added. Take a tour thug some of them. Soem are quite good.
8 new maps, "Arden" (Belgium), "Poland" (Poland), "Kishinev2" (Russia), "Auckland" (New Zealand), "Sollum" (Libya), "Bobruisk" (Russia), "Rezegh" (Libya) and "Trondheim" (Norway), I actually have had this last map laying for a while, but I forgot all about it. This pure guy surly must think I ditch his work - sorry about that, its rather good, a little small, but ok. Btw the Arden map is, yes you guessed it, another Ardennes map. Making the Ardennes the most covered PGII map. - ehhh, not that they are not fine and useable all of them, but I can think of about 10.000 other places that just would be happen for one map of it. Time to change this record and move on to other places, eh? Update of the Datup Update of the Pay-to-Play Efile. New Panzer2.dat repacking tool, by Lasse Jensen. I think its about time to update the sounds also, with the 100 (really!) of new sound I have got. But its not done yet!
10 new maps, here goes "Korsunp" (Russia), "Kharkov2" (Russia), "Ponyri2" (Russia) "Dubno" (Russia), "DonB" (Russia), "Crimea" (Russia), "Zhitomir" (Russia) "Mogilev2" (Russia), "Kharkov3" (Russia), "Gebel Libni" (Egypt - Sinai), and "Gettysburg" (USA) . Equipment editor by Carl Ankerstjerne has been updated. +Pay-to-Play+ Efile has been updated. Panzer2 dat viewer by Carl Ankerstjerne has been updated. MultiEditor by Luis Guzmán has been updated New Scenario Converter by Carl Ankerstjerne. Update of Fred Chlanda Panzer2.dat unpack/repack tool. Update of Fred Chlanda People's General Graphics Editor. Update of Fred Chlanda Shp Editor. New People's General modgen.dat unpack/repack by Fred Chlanda. Update of Smacker and Bink video tool.
A little fast update. There is more to come in the coming days, but there is only two things today :) New Patch v1.02G. As always this is only guarantied to work on the UK v1.02 installation of PGII. New changes; - If a tank
attacks immediately (without moving) after an overrun, it no more regains
all its movement points. (do not confuse this with the Beach-overrun-bug,
as it is still there) - Aircraft leaders altered so they cannot get 'Superior Man.' leader. Follows on from previous ZOC alteration in previous patches. - Ground conditions should be working fully correct. You can now play with the frozen ground, even after a load of a save game. And ground conditions no more cause crashes of the replay in PBEM games. - And finally this patch should work on Windows 2000 Pro systems. My Efile has been updated with many many changes!
Been away for a while. Sorry about those many unanswered Email, that has been laying in my mailbox for over a month. Anyway lots of new stuff and lots of updates. 8 new maps, here goes "Anzio" (Italy), "Kursk" (Russia), "Demjansk" (Russia) "Mountain" (Fictional), "Trafalga" (Spain, Napoleon map), "Waterloo" (Belgium, Napoleon map), "Hawaii" (USA) and "Noumea" (Pacific, New Caledonia). New Equipment editor by Carl Ankerstjerne and update of his campaign editor. This is a very very nice equipment editor, probably the best to date. Highly recommended. Found on the tool page. New multieditor by Luis Guzmán Valenzuela. This tool can do a whole lot of stuff, including an equipment editor, campaign save game editor, leader editor, single save game editor and diverse in game settings for save games in general. Now note, this is not a complete bug free tool! Since I have been away for a while, I have not tested this tool really well but I already have found some bugs. Anyway very capable tool. Found on the tool page. A equipment stat calculator tool by Ted van Eck. Can be pretty frightfully to some as it is a Dos command line tool. Found on the tool page. A map creator tool by Leonid. Well you got to work a little with this before you understand it. I am not sure its easier, however it does work. The idea it that you use the PGII editor in conjunction with this tool to create the *.map file for a map. The problem with the current only Map file creator is that you cannot see the actual image in the editor, and therefore have to shift many time between the map creator and PGII when creating new *Map file. This is an alternative way of creating the *map files and maybe easier. Please read the readme for complete info. Found on the tool page. The Datup has been updated and split in two.
Unofficial Patch v1.02e is now available. It now recognize all the campaigns you want. The scroll bar does NOT work, however the [up] and [down] arrows does. Also the flag in front of a campaign is selected via the second last byte in the *.cam file. Panzer2.dat viewer from Carl Ankerstjerne has been updated. Found on the tool page. And last the Windows Campiagn editor, also by Carl Ankerstjerne, has also been updated. Found on the tool page.
A new map, "Imphal" (India). The Datup has been updated once again with a few misses from the previous version, plus new icons which has become available. I damm well hope I got them all now. I am working on new File list, so that's why some icons, that should have been in, was forgotten. Unofficial Patch v1.02d is now available. This time the 2000/2000 should be fully workable. A brand new Panzer2.dat viewer from Carl Ankerstjerne. Very cool tool. You can view the icon in the Dat file without having to extract them. Found on the tool page. And last the Windows Campiagn editor, also by Carl Ankerstjerne, has been updated. Found on the tool page.
A new map, "Elba" (Italy). The Datup has been updated again with a few misses from the previous version. A new patch is here!!!!!! This is a true bug correction and game improvement patch. Unfortunately its only for the UK version of Panzer General II. It should work for the US version also, however it has not been tested. If you are the own of the German or French version, you are out of luck for the moment. There is a lot of corrections and improvement, including a new 2000/2000 equipment limited. Can be downloaded on the Patch page.
Two new maps, "Fiji" (Melanesia), and "New Georgia" (Melanesia). The Datup has been updated. A new Movement Method doc can now be read on the Info&Spec page.
Lots of new maps, 16!! in all. Some number changes and some renaming was required. Here goes"Bataan3" (Philippines), "Corigadr" (Melanisia), "Manlia" (Philippines) "Espiritu" (Philippines), "La Matz" (France WWI map), "Luzon" (Philippines), "Mogilev" (Russia), "Odessa" (Russia), "Finschhafen" (Papua New Guinea) "Burma North" (Burma), "Kufra" (Libya), "Panama Cannal" (Panama), "Madang" (Papua New Guinea), "Verdun" (France WWI map), "Belgrade" (Yugoslavian), and "Kiev" (Russia), The Windows Campaign editor from Carl Ankerstjerne has been updated. Should now support any language version. The Datup will be delayed for another few days. Its getting quite big and I got to find some way of decreasing the download.
More maps. 5 this time."Hana" (Crech Republic), "Dukla" (Poland), "Istra" (Russia) "Milne Bay" (Papua New Guinea) and "Gransasso" (Italy). The Author of both Hana and Dukla also made 3 more, however I choose not to include them, as they are really small. There play value is very limited. My Efile has been update, with a serious re-work of the AD units, few graphic changes and a few units changes. Still compatible with any previous version, however some stats can be radical different. The AD units should now be somewhat tougher to chose from a range 1 to a range 2/3. Still range will always be the primary factor for buying AD units, cannot change that, but it should be tougher to choose (hopefully). It is for me. Found on the BP equipment page. And Finally a brand new Campaign editor. In native Windows stile , - should please a lot of people. This is actual pretty good. Easy to use and support everything my DOS campaign editor does. Off course its made by a Danish man, so how could it be any different :) , - just kidding! Found on the tool page. |
