I'm not sure what to say about this. If you don't know any Japanese, you're going to spend an inordinate amount of time wading around menus trying to remember which button goes back and which button goes forward and what takes you where, etc. After about a week I figured out how to play as Kunio's team.
There are a TON of options and stats. If it weren't a fake sport, I'd say this was a hardcore sports sim. The characters are all well realized and all do their own thing. It's got cool effects and decent music, but the gameplay itself is unfortunately stiff. I think the ROM's a bit dodgy, too. It locks up sometimes.
