Thanks for validating my stereotypes.
DVDs - if you have a multi-region dvd player it won't be a problem playing any dvd, unless you're Gordon Brown. But anyway: you're still going to be buying in Europe, it's all the same region here
Games - who gives a shit, download them from some torrent site, it's free _________________ Disco, Disco Cat

Okay thanks.
There is just one problem by the download thingy, in denmark (we are a society of lazy gamers) the government took Hitman very literally, wich is why they now have spent millions of bearded hookers, in exchange of polish workers, who comes to set up a cloning facility, (like the one in Hitman) to produce clones, not like 47, but like a mix of Victor Borge and Bruce Willies, to headhunt all who download games. _________________ I don't suffer from insanity, i enjoy every minute of it. |

Almost right. Retail games that require Steam must be activated in their country of sale. I think you're in the clear after they're associated with an account. _________________ Comedy = Tradgey + Time/Relevance |

The language barrier is the only issue when buying games when on holidays, most don't have English as an option - especially budget games. _________________ Official HHQ ambassador to foreign lands

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that means if you ever want to reinstall the game you'll have to head back to the country of purchase to activate it, which is another concern. |

No, it's on your account permanently so you can't activate it for another account. (and you never need the install discs again if you have a net connection) _________________ Comedy = Tradgey + Time/Relevance |
