Welcome to The Hall of Game Innovation, the first wing in the
Gamecenter Museum of Gaming. Herein are enshrined ten of the most
important games of all time.
How do you define what's truly innovative? Good question. Our
purpose is not to rank the merits of one game over another. Instead,
we're calling attention to the quantifiable contributions a game has
made to the gaming community.
But we're not stopping at ten. We want to hear your comments--if
you want to contribute, drop us a
line explaining just why you think your nominee is the one.
Every month or so, we'll review the nominees and pick one.
So welcome to the Cooperstown of computer games--a place where
you can take your grandkids and say, "That's the way the game was
