caution and drive gently.
Let off gas early and brake well before the corners.
Better to go too slow through a corner than to overrun
into the deep snowbanks
Use the snowbank on the inside of a corner to help
slow you down if your coming in to fast.
General Overview
The only snow event of the season. The slippery
snow and ice roads require a measured approach to cornering
but provide the opportunity to perform some impressive power-slides.
The careful driver will be rewarded. Be cautious of hitting
snow banks as you exit corners. They will impede your progress
far more than slowing for the corner in the first place. Let
off the gas before you reach the turn so you can come in slow
and power out. If your coming in too hot you can even use
the snow on the inside of a corner to help slow you instead
of trying to lock your wheels. A weak break setting will help
keep you from locking your wheels up and front biased power
will pull you around but care should still be applied - especially
when driving on ice.

Trees are usually scattered and far enough off
the roadside that they are not an obstacle even in the slippery
conditions of Sweden.
The snow banks will be your biggest enemy in
Sweden cutting into your lead each time your car drifts a bit
too wide.
Like many of the obstacles in Sweden, hitting
one of these narrow bridges will usually just slow you down
instead of stopping you.
Selecting early braking points and keeping wheel
spin to a minimum by gradually accelerating will win you Sweden.
Only two stages are held at night, but often
snowy conditions makes for low visibility even during the day.
Only 5% of the entire Rally is ice. It requires
even more caution than snow to avoid overshooting corners and
loosing time.
