Is the Name change not working or has it been disabled? because when i try to change name the new one dosent take effect.

only admins can change usernamers, and it is not something done lightly - you'll have to have a really good reason...
you can try PMing Trim or RC...

The option in the profile shouldn't be there.
We, the webmasters, are checking it out.


But in the configurations it's disabled because, as Jimmy said, it's not done lightly.
