seriously... how about waiting just more than half a day for a response?
seriously... how about a little more patience when asking for help? you might actually get a response without such a demanding tone, you know...
seriously... why not use the search function, or looking around to teach yourself? i know this issue has been covered before...
seriously... it's all about a Ship's Icon, which the py in custom/ships for that ship would call for...
look for something like:
Code: | iconName = 'whatever' |
at least i think it is that, what your issue is...

Because I have asked before about many things and people just ignore my post or something, or only partially help, and I did search and the search turned up stuff that had nothing to do with what im trying to do.
soo thanks for your your help, both of you
and I didnt know it would be that easy..really thought it would be more complicated..
Ive tried the teaching my self method and its not working..ive been part of this place for many years(differnt login name) and im still in the same spot as I was before, still a peon, dispite all of the tutorials etc...thats WHY im asking for hands on help from you guys but...I seem to be getting a bad vibe from you instead...I need HELP with learning python from someone that knows about the python BC uses,Im already learning the modeling area.

TGLs sometimes messes up other installed TGLs...like if I had DY Scimitar, and I put (for example, one of yours) another 1 in, it might screw up the Scimitar TGL. but nobody really does care now do they? it's just a bit of info which I don't know who wants it or not. I know the TOS pack will have TGLs.
OT: Where the hell did the "Wait 24 HRs before a post" rule show up here? when?

The best way to learn about how BC works is to play around with stuff. Change one setting in a ship's hardpoint and see what it does to it in-game, for example. As for learning Python code, you'll have a lot better luck asking in the forums where the scripters tend to hang out these days: BCS: TNG and BCC.
