Here are the 3 positions:

1) Website coder: Someone who can update the code. We have issues with the left menu and staff page that needs uodating, we also need to make pages for tutorials because there are too many stickies at gamingfiles for tutorial crap that could be on BCfiles to relieve clutter. Be prepared to do some work. The Code BCfiles uses for it's pages is PHP. You need to know what you are doing. Shouldn't require significant uploading or downloading so 56k might work, but faster is better.

2) We also need to picture people. It will be your job to update mods, which will be assigned to you by myself or staff, beauce they either use the old system of tiny thumbnails or the current pix suck. This will be a site wide overhaul, and I can't give you an exact number of files this will involve.
Requirements for this job:
1) Willing to spend the time
2) Have BC, and know how to use and install mods (ships mainly) however you many need to screencap a torpedo, so HP editing would be helpfull to geta ship to fire it.
3) Stunning graphics. My geforce3 wont cut it. Some kind of dazziling high end card...
4) Resonable isp-to upload pix of atleast 800/600 atleast 3 images per mod, error free. I would recommend dsl atleast, but if you have a fast 56k (say a 40 rage kps connection) that might work

3) Filers-the lazyness is getting irritating, and people are not posting their crap. Don't know for sure if I will need filers, but if you are interested, can create decent quality pix that clearly show the object and have dsl or higher let me know. It does not involve uploading, but you will need to download files of the several meg range routinely. Do not apply if you are going to be half-arsed. English and decent typing skills also required.

4) Links admin:
It will be your job to verify links as they are submitted. Also, if you see a BC related link advertised here, gamingforums, in a sig, ect, post it. Once or twice a month, check all links and remove any which are dead, or clans which provide a "closed" message or indicate they have dropped BC. Same applies for forums. This will be your only task. Discrimination is not allowed. If it is BC, it should be there unless site owner doesn't want it there. The exception is if they are acitvly displaying warez or other piracy, or foul content such as porn, nudity..ect. We don't want to link places like that.

I have a decent 3mb cable connection and I am always on... most of the time.

Download the Server version and set codes at 9.3 Speedxkbit for best quality ...

You have to set it that way for each room on edit mod .. Need help, ask. Otherwise ya'll are welcome to continue in ours until you get a host.

the main thing is when kenjar tried one I couldn't get in unless I let the server assign a nickname, then couldn't get rid of the assigned name even after I registered, and if I unchecked the box I couldn't login at all...ugh.

like to be of assistance ,,, but I have dial-up ,,, but I am on rather frequently,,, not always BCfiles ,,, and I have been submitting some QBR 2.3 missions here of late tooo ,,, but if you need some Help ask...Can't always do much being on Dial-up

We've got 2 people for pictures now that SHOULD be enough. If I need more I'll keep you in mind.

Now how about the PHP issue? We're talking about mainly adding and removing clickable links or images, nothing overly advanced. Making pages like the rules page for exmaple. So, anyone?
