So you don't think there's too much space between the wide console and the command area?

Very nice but you might want to make the railing thicker or add supports to the bacl consols they dont look like they would be very stong.

There are supports for them. Look closely.

I like the idea of the big console and the back ones. I think everything fits nice to the bridge so far. Keep it coming.

Sorry about the lack of updates today. It was "game" day for Apoc, so he didn't work on the bridge at all. Hopefully we'll get some more updates tomorrow. All that is left to do now is the bridge ceiling, and flipping the normals. After that, it's on to texturing, animating, and whatever else needs to be done before I can have my bridge. I thought that aft panel was going to be the Master Ship Display with starboard and dorsal views?

I'm liking it alot. Not too sure about the viewscreen shape, but it IS your bridge. I really like the aft panel layout, very very nice.

Keep working at it, and I'm sure the bridge will be completed in no time!

the reasoning is that the aftt panel is deep so it wouldnt be very conveniant to rech into the lcar window to reach the buttons

::blinks:: okay...I guess it couldn't hurt to have a bit of the TMP feel with that console on the MSD...could it?

Tooie and I need to finish discussing the textures. I think we've agreed at least on blue and gray, with some gold highlights on the consoles. But I'm sure that we'll end up working up a couple different texture styles, and deciding that way.

Yo brex just a thought but u know that dedication plaque im making why dont u whack it up on the wall once the bridge is textured ill be posting an early version of it once its finished and its not far off that at the mo its gottta be said that other than the excalibur (not as good as posiedon) this is the only ship that has had a full set done for it and if i had it my way wed have posiedon as BC2s center piece.

The Poseidon would make a good ship to command in single player missions.

I'M extremely flattered by all the praise
Unfortunately, as I have been told, for Mods like BC2, ship models are required to contain less than 40% in parts that come from canon ships. Therefore, the Poseidon, in it's current design, would not be allowed in a mod of the type that BC2 is. However, it may be possible to make the Poseidon class a playable replacement for the Galaxy class Dauntless. We could certain create a Dauntless registry for the Poseidon class. But only if there's enough demand for it.
Now, back to the topic: What does everyone think of the bridge so far?

Well...we did make a Voyager registry because two people asked for that...Okay, I'll talk to Phoenix about seeing if we can't get the Poseidon into the single player format.
