here's my first try lol.. i really wanna know how to make a real nebula using 3D MAX 7 but i guess i'll have to use photoshop cuz it's easier.. here..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated![/img]

Interesting tutorial on how to make a river and waterfall. Its for Lightwave 5.6 so if anyone has later versions it may require some tweaking. Basically, where it says "set texture to Grid" (whatever that means), just apply a gradient and have it set to "slope".

I am new to ship modeling, so i'm trying out different methods to see which one works best for me. heres a pic of the orig enterprise saucer, made with 1 spline
